How to sort on spark datagrid.

I am trying to sort a spark datagrid column when users click the header of individual column. I have set sortableColumns property to true but still have no luck

I would appreciate if anyone here can help me out. Thanks a lot.

I am having trouble with this too.
The link provided in the answer above opens with the comment "By default, users can sort the row of a DataGrid by clicking the column headers.".
My experience is that this is not true.
For example, if you create the TestDrive tutorial, the datagrid is not sortable by clicking on the column headers.

I've searched and searched on this, lots of articles about more complex sorting but no reference to this apparent lack of simple sorting.
Anyone else found the same?

Is your datagrid using any of Flash Builders DCD functions or code generation to get the data from a server into the grid?

I only ask this because if you are using DCD paging feature then grid sorting is disabled.
