nivoSlider broken on home

On our home page, there's an image carousel that was working just a few days ago. Since then there hasn't been any changes, but now it's giving us an error

 

Uncaught TypeError: Object #<Object> has no method 'nivoSlider'

It would be awesome if anyone can tell me what might have happened here.

    Hello Jeff,

    I'm on firefox 11, and I get an error that Placeholder is not defined.

     

    In your head tag:

    <script type="text/javascript">

                        $(function(){
                        // Placeholder
                        Placeholder.init(); 
                    });
    </script>

     

    Also your /js/placeholder.min.js is not loading. So once you get this js file back into the js folder it should right the ship.
