Missing libiomp5md.dll

May 1, 2012 1:22 PM

When I run the beta I get the error message "The program can't start because libiomp5md.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem." I click on the OK button, get the same message, click on the button, and then the beta runs.Reinstalling doesn't fix the problem. I'm using Win7 64. I uninstalled the beta before reinstalling. The file does exist in the programfiles/adobe/adobe photoshop CS5 (64 Bit).

Did you reinstall the same file or did you uninstall, download  a new copy, and then install?

That's an OpenMP library, but Photoshop doesn't use OpenMP.

My guess is that it comes from a third party plugin that needs to run an installer to put all it's DLLs in the right place.
