upgrade to CS5.5

May 1, 2012 2:38 PM

I bought the upgrade to CS5.5 (just for download not CD) using a Credit card from a relative, who created an Adobe account and used her e-mail

I registered successfully this upgrade in my personal Adobe account, under my name and my address.

It is easy with downloaded software purchases (if it is needed to download again) just go to the original account where the software was acquired and find there the download button.

But, in this case, the registration appears in my list of purchases but is no path to download it. As I would like to avoid paying the extra bucks to get the CD what could be procedure?

Here's a link to the Adobe download page. Download the version of CS5.5 you purchased.

Then when prompted during the installation, enter the serial number you received with your purchase.

In your original posting, you said that you had purchased the Creative Suite 5.5 not Acrobat. CS 5.5 should include Acrobat.

The Mac demos, IIRC, do not include Acrobat.

No. You cannot upgrade a single application you must upgrade the entire suite.

If you act now you can buy CS5.5 and get CS6 for free.
