I recently got a new computer and loaded my Photoshop CS4 on to it and the features of Open GL such as holding down the z key and using the scroll on the mouse to zoom in and out and also the left and right bracket key inceasing or decreasing the size of the brush do not work. The new computer is using Windows 7 64 bit and has an AMD quad core with 8 Gb RAM. I checked to make sure that Open GL is selected in the Edit>Preference>Performance where it also tells me that the graphics card does support accelerated graphics for Open GL.
Does anybody have any other ideas on what I can do to get this to work?
Visit the web page of the maker of the video card in your system, seek the download for the Windows display driver to match your hardware and OS, and install it. Chances are that it will enable you to use OpenGL.
Thanks for taking a look. My graphics card is "ATI Radeon HD 6550D Graphics" and my resolution is 1920 X 1200 32 bit 60 Hz. I hope that answers what you need to know.
Noel. Again, thanks for the support. I'm not very techie, but I could not find any reference to Catalyst at all. When I went into device manager under "Display Adapters" all I could find was according to them it is an AMD Radeon HD6550D Graphics. Driver Provider is Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. Driver Date is 10/24/2011. Driver version is 8.892.1.1000. The graphics card is integrated into the mother board. Does this help?
