Hi, I am currently working on a project in After Effects with pictures and other effects, as well as music.
It was working great, but for some reason the music decided to speed up and the pitch went higher as well.
Does anyone know why this might have happened or a way to fix it?
I have tried re importing the song multiple times, and I even tried a different song, but it was still high and faster than normal..
Thank you
thanks for the quick response. I tried both and it didn't change anything.
Does it matter where the cache is saved to?
if that makes sense..
Also what exactly under audio preferences would I be looking for?
Everything under audio preferences looks fine to me..
I just reinstalled everything yesterday as well.
We need to know a lot more to help. Please provide answers to the questions listed here: "FAQ: What information should I provide when asking a question on this forum?"

Until you come across with the information we need to make an informed diagnosis -- look at Todd Kopriva's link -- here's yet another shot in the dark.
Did you run the Adobe Creative Suite Clean Tool between uninstalling & reinstalling?
