Out of memory on Acrobat X Pro

May 3, 2012 7:21 AM

I'm creating a PDF archive with the "Create PDF from Web Page" feature on Acrobat X Pro (File > Create > PDF from Web Page), and I get an error that simply says "Out of memory" in the middle of operation. After converting about 14,000 web pages, it stops and brings up the error popup. I still have about 300 pages left to end the process. I have 4 GB of RAM and its usage is 70% (according to Task Manager) when this occurs, so it doesn't seem like my RAM is maxed out... Am I exceeding Acrobat's capability?

Yes, you probably are. Acrobat is a 32-bit process so the amount of RAM it can access is limited. You'll have to convert the web pages in two blocks and append them together.

    Hello,

some Partners get the same error "Out of Memory".

We're creating the PDFs with Adobe Reader 9.4.0 an they opening the PDF with that error. After that, the Sites are blank.

They are using the Version "Acrobat 10 Pro". (10.0.0)

how can we solve this Problem.
