Premiere automatically stops playing the video immediately after I switch my focus to Google Chrome, and really any other window. Any way to disable this "feature"?
Well. Maybe not so much a "crucial feature" as it is a super basic feature, that shouldn't require 6 revisions of the software to finally have... Anyway, a lot of times I like to listen to the videos I edit afterward to make sure everything is coherent if you were just listening in the background. And I don't want to have to waste the time of exporting to do so, especially when I have a cheap graphics card that can't do it very quickly.

As far as I know, the graphics card has almost nothing to do with exporting... only timeline playback

If you don't want to upgrade to CS6... export and use a media player that will run in the background
