how do i /save/ the correct orientation?

i am opening a pdf, orienting it to the /correct/ orientation and saving it and then close it - when i open it the orientation is incorrect again.

 

how do i fix this so it WORKS?

    You can either rotate the pages or rotate the view. When you rotate the pages and save, they will stay rotated. When you rotate the view and save, it will revert back to the original view when it's next opened.

    The rotate pages is typically found under the Documents menu. The rotate icon you might be using on the toolbar is the rotate view and is only good for the current session.

    guys. thank you.

     

    i have a FILE EDIT VIEW WINDOW HELP pulldown.

     

    under VIEW i have ROTATE counterclockwise and ROTATE clockwise.

     

    can you help me with ROTATING A PAGE (or multiple page selection) or ROTATING THE WHOLE DOCUMENT? i seem to be coming from Mac Preview and i am getting absolutely killed in acrobat with this stuff.

     

    is there a way to get these onto little cute buttons that i can see in the UI so i can do this without going through pulldowns?

    You need to use the Tools menu on the right-hand side of the window, and

    there go to Pages - Rotate.

    Are you using Acrobat or Reader. If Reader, then you can not save the rotation changes.

    The biggest problem I see with this is the button is not all that cute.
