The homepage of my website doesn't sjow any picture at all on ONLY on IE.
It's really wierd. I've checked the url and everything, used dreamweaver to insert the image by itself, but still doesn't work.
my local folder is in desktop, TechnoGate/*thats were index.html and all the pages are*/images
so when, for example, I have this code:
<a href="index.html"><img id="logo" src="images/logo.jpg" alt="logo" /></a>
It doesn't work. I've tried checking the url and changing it in almost all possible ways, but with no success.
I wish someone can help me.
**problem occurs with IE only!! , and another weird thing, the only image that shows up is this:
<li><a href="products/barriers.html" onmouseout="MM_swapImgRestore()" onmouseover="MM_swapImage('barriers_icon','','images/barriers_icon_ho ver.png',1)"><img src="images/barriers_icon.png" alt="gate_automation_barriers_direct" name="barriers_icon" width="158" height="178" border="0" id="barriers_icon" /></a></li>
(this ul has 6 other images at the excect same type that i insert in the excect same way, but only this one shows up.) It's so weird...
------update------
I think I've found some key information.
See, the website I'm working on was live' and I jsut wanted to edit it. So when I actually downloaded the index.html from the live website and insert it to my folder, It still did'nt work! (live it works totally fine)
So now I guess that we can assume that the problem is in my root folder. Any ideas of what is the problem?
What do you mean? I got it on my desktop.. I can upload it now because Its not finished.
The live one before the change is that:http://technogate.ca/ , which [should] work fine on IE as well.
I'm pretty sure it's something with my root folder in desktop, but I just can't figure out what.

Excectly. all the folders are the same tho. (I've uploaded the live one 2 weeks ago, now I came back to edit it.)
The file/folder structure that you downloaded and the one on your desktop cannot be the same if the live site shows the images.
Have you downloaded ALL the remote site and viewed that?
No, the folder I'm talking about is the excect same one as I uploaded. The weird thing is that on the about-us, or service and all these other pages the pictures works fine with IE. It's just the index.html that has the problem.
Another intersting thing - I even tried to insert a photo using img src=" *browse..letting dreamweaver locate the image alone* but it STILL didn't work. Doesnt make any sense.
I can't upload this file to my web hosting since the web is running and I cant disable it for testing.. so any other ideas? *consider that even dreamweaver's browse doesnt work*

No need to disable anything.
Just upload the page to a temporary folder on the website, then pull it down when it's fixed.
Lol. When I upload it to my hosting, it works. As you can see: (I've only uploaded some of the images)
