RoboHelp 11 - is RoboHelp 11 still incompatible with Word 2010 64 bit

I have experienced several intermittent problems when generating Word docs from RoboHelp 11 over the last few months. Word crashes when generating a printed document from RoboHelp displaying a dialog that says "Word is trying to recover your documents". The document is generated, but all images in the document are missing. After much investigation I think this is related to the incompatibility with RoboHelp and 64 bit Word. I experience the same sort of errors related to the number of topics in the single source layout as in the following thread:

Is RoboHelp 11 still incompatible with Word 2010 64 bit? Is there any other solution besides installing the 32 bit version of Word?

RH 9 - Why does RH modify my ssl settings?

I'm using RH 9.0.2.271.

The Background: We have a large help system (approx 2200 topics) that we have to generate into PDFs one per chapter. We also need to do this in various target languages as well once we get them back from our localization department. So, I created an SSL per chapter in our English project (38 in total), and each SSL is setup to output a single PDF:

The idea is use RH's batch generate, and have all 38 PDFs get generated. We then bundle them up into a zip and provide them to our customers. It works great in the English. We sent our English RH project off for localization and the translators translated the necessary files.

About SSL and printdoclayout.xml Files: I've looked into the SSL files in a text editor, and the SSL files for printed outputs do not specify themselves what gets sent to the .doc or .pdf. Instead, when you create the SSL, RH also creates a unique xml file with this name printdoclayout(n).xml, where n is a number that increments for each additional printable SSL you have and the SSL contains a reference to use that XML. The printdoclayout.xml actually contains the chapter structure that gets sent to the printable output:

Within the <tocstructure> element, it contains the hierarchy of what to export. (Note that even though it has <chapter> and <page> elements, those are misnomers since they're really just topics references with <chapter> for a book-style entry that contains a subtopics. The important thing is that in this example, the xml matches what I have in the Chapter Layout list of the Print Document Content dialog box shown above:

How We Work with Localized Files: We send off the entire RH project to the translators. They give us back the necessary files (.htm, .hhk, .hhc and so on). This time we also asked them to translate the name attributes in each <chapter> and <page> element of each printdoclayout.xml file, because RH draws from those strings during the printable output generation, and we didn't want it to pull in the English strings from the original XML files. When we get the file's back from our localization department, we make a copy of the English RH project that was localized and we use that as a base. We then copy the files they send back to us into it, overwriting what's in the English. We then modify the RH project settings to match the target language. Then we generate the desired output.

The Problem: Now we're getting the localized projects backs, but when we try to generate the printable outputs from a localized RH project, RH no longer respects what I originally defined in the 38 SSLs/xmls. Instead of trying to output a single chapter per SSL, it's trying to output ALL chapters in each SSL. For example, notice what happens when I open up the same layout in the localized Chinese. (Notice the blue highlight in the left side of the Print Document Content dialog box, showing that ALL the chapters are now somehow selected.)

I don't understand why merely opening up the SSL causes it to select ALL the topics for the generation, especially when the underlying (localized) .xml file still shows the correct chapter output as shown here:

It seems like there's another setting or file or perhaps just a bug that's telling it to grab all chapters and topics. In fact, it looks like the entire SSL is pretty much wiped out. My section layout and the style settings need to be redone as well.

Anyway, the workaround I came up with, is we have to go back into each layout (38 of them) in each target language and select again the proper chapter per layout (as well as fix the section layout and style settings). It's a time-consuming and error-prone manual fix, especially since in some target languages, like Chinese where I don't read the characters and could easily get lost and choose the wrong chapter.

Menu location: Review > Create PDF for Review

Issue: The default output from the menu location results in output that is unusable: e.g., styles aren't mapping correctly, making the document difficult to read and review. Is there a default print layout or some other control available?

Ultimate objectives: Track changes, perform shared reviews, import comments from the generated PDF, and so forth.

Secondary questions: Can I import comments/markup from a shared review if I generated the PDF using the print layout, instead of the Review > Create PDF for Review menu option? If so, will I then be able to manage comments from the Review pane and perform other related-reviewing functions?

Can I stop RH 11 from automatically inserting two paragraph breaks after each topic when I generate to a Word document?

The doc generates using a Word template mapped to the CSS styles. It pulls together several topics out of a larger online project. When I generate this doc, the Word draft always has two blank paragraph breaks after each topic. These breaks aren't in the topics and we don't want them in the Word doc. We have to take the time to manually remove them each time. Is there a setting somewhere that I can change to stop RH 11 from adding these extra paragraph breaks?

RH9 - Any idea why generating printable output from the Command Line doesn't include images?

I have a batch file that creates a printable output of our main documentation broken up into 36 separate documents, 1 per chapter. Each chapter is a separate layout. I realize that RH has its own Batch building process, but the reason for me doing it through the command line via a batch file (.bat) is that RH keeps taking focus from my mouse and it makes it difficult to do any other computer work while the RH project generates the printable output for those chapters.

Anyway, RH's Batch build works fine.

But the command line for printable output does not include any of my images in the printable output. I don't know why. The document generates with all the topics fine, but the images are missing. No placeholder box in the resulting Word doc, they just simply weren't included. Has anyone else seen this? Any way to fix it?

Image Quality after Resizing

Is there a way to resize images without losing quality. I currently use SnagIt to capture the images and resize. I then insert the jpg into Robohelp 10 and produce printed documentation in Word.

Is there a "Keep with Next" feature in RoboHelp?

I have RoboHelp 10. The page break before or after is not what I need because I don't want a page break if the text is in the middle of the page. I just want a low-level heading to stay with the following paragraph if it is at the bottom of a page. I don't want to use one of the official "Heading 4", 5, or 6 headings because in this document I need to have different indentations.

Is it possible to reuse the map file that was produced to map FrameMaker styles to RoboHelp when creating a PDF in RoboHelp?

I'm using RoboHelp 11 to produce WebHelp. The documentation was previously written in FrameMaker and posted in PDF format, however it has undergone many releases since those days. I'm now being asked to create the help in PDF and WebHelp. Not really an issue except that the help format does not look particularly good in PDF (not designed for both).

Ideally I'd like to just use the map file from the original Frame to RoboHelp conversion in reverse (with a little editing)--to convert the RoboHelp styles to the original FrameMaker formats when I create the PDF, however A) there doesn't seem to be an option for that, and B) the original FrameMaker to RoboHelp map file doesn't seem to have been preserved after that conversion. Is it there and I'm just not seeing it?

If necessary I can just create another CSS to redefine the styles, but if I don't have to, I rather not.

RoboHelp 11 to Word 2010 including MERGEFORMAT tags in every H1 in the document

Hi All,

When I generate Printed Documentation from RoboHelp 11 to Microsoft Word 10, I am now seeing MERGEFORMAT tags in every Heading 1 in my document when I have paragraph marks turned on. This issue started today and is 100% reproducible in all of my tests this morning. Prior to today, this was not an issue. I always work with paragraph marks on, so while turning the marks off hides the MERGEFORMAT tags, it is really not acceptable. I have attached an image showing what the H1s look like now with paragraph marks turned on. Any help in the way of resolving this would be greatly appreciated.

How can I fix disappearing bulleted and numbered lists from Word output!

RH Version: RH 9.0.2.271

Word Version: 2010

System: Windows 7 Ultimate, SP1. 64-bit machine

Background: We have a very large documentation set in our main RH project of approximately 40 folders (ie chapters), resulting in about 2300 pages all told. Our current modus operandi is to export the printable output in chunks of approximately 6 chapters apiece, and then combine those docs together into a single doc file. This has more or less worked for the past decade.

Current Issue: Lately however, something has changed in our RoboHELP project. Because when I try to combine all of the different chapters together into a single DOC file, I lose bulleted and numbered lists from some chapters. The individual DOC files are fine though.

Since last week I've been trying to track down where the root of this problem is. I have exported every single chapter as an individual DOC file, and then I create a blank DOC file, and then use Word's Text from File feature (Insert tab, Text group, Object drop down, then Text from File) to combine the docs together.

If I select the last chapter, press Shift, and then select the very first chapter, and then click Insert to get them into the correct chapter order, Word then combines the files. But the last few chapters all have their bullets and numbering removed.

If I select the last chapter, press shift, and select the fifth chapter, and all the numbering is fine so far. But then if I tried to combine the remaining four chapters at the beginning, I lose bullets and numbered lists on those beginning chapters.

Perhaps the best way to describe the problem is through a video showing the issue. See below.

I've wasted countless hours trying to troubleshoot this problem, and trying to locate what's causing this or even to do a workaround. But I'm out of ideas.

Something is very wrong, because Word won't even allow me to manually apply the bulleted or numbered lists as a post process step in any doc where the bulleted and numbered lists are removed.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Wrong multilevel list type in printed documentation

I have prepared a Word template for my printed documentation. Everything works fine BUT - the various headings appear as Articles and Sections instead of the numerical multi-level list. Therefore, I am also getting the articles and sections in my TOC. How do I let Robohelp know to use the numerical list instead of the Articles & Sections. (The numerical list is the one defined in the template, but something is overrriding it).

Why does my paragraph break before and after a subscript?

This is an intermittent problem occurring in the Word output. The WebHelp is fine. In the following image you can see that the subscripts worked in the early part of the paragraph, but then split.

RoboHelp 9 - Trouble printing .CHM

Our clients are having trouble printing readable documents from the generated .CHM we provide. Text and images are being cut off and nothing I do to manipulate print settings will offset it. Any recommendations?

When I generate the TOC in RH7, the first page number is "v" instead of 'i' - how can I fix it?

When generating a word doc from RH7 everything works fine except for the roman numbering in the TOC footer. It begin with a "v" (5) instead of "i":

The roman numerals count up on the following 4 TOC pages - so, the TOC is numbered from v to viii. The body of the document starts on page 1 just as it should. I've tried every setting I can think of to no avail.

As an aside, I have an un-numbered cover and next a copyright page before the TOC but if RH is counting those then I should be starting with page iii on the TOC (which would aggravate me only slightly less - two roman numerals worth, to be exact).

Is there a way to fix this or should I just shave my head and resign in disgrace as the company technical writer?

RH11 - Cuts off tables when I generate review PDFs. How do I get it to include the entire table?

We just upgraded from RH9 to Rh11. I'm using the Create PDF for Review... option on the Review menu. I have several two column tables in the topic I'm sending for review. The PDF cuts off half of the second column in the tables. We didn't have this issue with RH9. Has anyone else had this problem with the PDF review feature in RH11? Can you tell me why it's doing this & how to fix it?

Table styles not assigned after generating .docx document

Hi,

In our team we generate PDF's from RoboHelp 11 via Word 2013.

When the .docx file is generated all styles are mapped from a word template. The issue is that the table styles are not applied even though they are mapped in RH, all the other styles is applied as normal.

Does anyone have any experience with this issue?

Footer image not resizing in printed documentation

Does anyone know why an image inserted into a footer master page is not automatically resizing to the width of the printed page when applied to a print layout and output to Word? If you insert an image into the body of a topic or a master page and generate printed documentation, the image automatically resizes.

I'm trying to insert a high-res footer image (300 dpi) into my footer so that it appears on every page, but at the moment it's being embedded at full-size.

How do I change the Author name in a generated pdf?

I've successfully used the Printed Document SSL to generate pdfs, and they all have my own name as the Author (well, duh.)

However, the client team at my company wants the author name to be the company name, but the field in Acrobat 9 will not allow me to edit the author name. Note that when I generate simple review pdfs, there is no name entered into the Author field. How can I generate the Printed Help with no Author, or edit the Author once generated?

RoboHelp 11 - In the SalesBuilder2 demo project, where does the Letter 1 Arial.docx file reside within the project?

RoboHelp 11 - Text box over image does not generate to Word

Hi All,

With RoboHelp 11 and Word 10, I am trying to emulate an existing cover page for our company, which has a gray background image and a blue text box with the document title and version number. I created a topic with the background image, then placed a positioned text box over it. I added blue shading to the text box and the white lettering for the title and version. When I generate Word, the text box and text inside it do not show up in the Word output. Is there a way to get HTML > Insert features like text boxes to appear in the Word output?

RoboHelp 11 - page numbering skips page numbers in Word output (Word 2010)

In my Word output, the page numbering skips some page numbers, so I see 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,9...it skips seemingly random page numbers throughout the rest of the document. I looked in the sample SalesBuilder2 project for answers and their Word output has the same issue. Has anyone else seen this and is there a known cause/resolution?

Am currently running Robohelp 10 and using Microsoft Office 2013. Whenever I want to review the printed Documentation Single Source Layout, I receive an error that a supported version of Microsoft Office does not exist. It recommends Office 2000 or newer. Is there a patch that will allow me to use this feature with Windows 8 and Office 2013?

I have searched the forum and Peter Grainge's site and not found a solution to this problem that worked.

I have a new installation of RH10 on Windows 7 sp1. It was installed as a trial and then licensed. I do not have the complete Adobe Acrobat -- only the add-on that was installed with RH.

I used RoboHelp HTML to create a simple webhelp project and attempted to generate a PDF from it with the single source layout for Printed Documentation. The following error occurred:

RoboHelp can successfully create a PDF of a single topic. It can create a PDF with Review > Create PDF for Review. It can successfully create a doc from this project, and Word is able to save that doc as a pdf.

RH can open the projects that it created but cannot open the sample projects. The sample directories are read-only and I cannot reset them. I do not know why.

I uninstalled RH and reinstalled it. The problem is still occurring.

I am baffled. I am an inexperienced RH user so the problem might be a simple one. I would be grateful for any advice.

Hi. I'm tire kicking RH11 / FM 12 with the trial copy.

On 3 or 4 separate documents, I can successfully print to .docx format, but I can't print to PDFs. When I try, the program quits with message just below. I've also attached the compbilation log, which ends with "Internal error encountered, Failed to generate Printed Documentation. "

I can print the resulting .docx doc to PDF from Word. But that's an extra step I'd rather not have to take.

Any tips on what might be causing this PDF crash would be appreciated. I see that other's have had similar problems in the past, but its not clear if their was conclusion on their issues.

RH11 - Tabs missing in Word Index

I have just upgraded from RH10 to RH11. Upon upgrading a project and publishing a Word document in RH11 I see that the index entries are now missing the tab between the item and the page number.

This is how the Word document looked in RH10

This how it now appears in RH11. No changes have been made to any of the previous RH10 settings (i.e CSS or Word Template).

The Word template still contains the tab setting for the Index style but the actual tab is not being inserted when the document is generated. Am I missing a setting somewhere or is this a bug?

Can Robohelp 11 generate PDFs using an outside style template similar to what is done with DITA?

We're just upgrading to Robohelp 11 from RH9 and need some help with the following process.

I'm currently working on a project where the project manager wants the PDFs auto generated out of RH totally finished. What I mean by this is that when RH generates a PDF, the PDF already has the formatted footer/headers and tables (i.e., the header rows repeat when the table spans page breaks), the correct paragraph styles, and the cover as required by the company standards. Currently, we have to format the docs manually using the following steps:

generate a Word doc
attach the correct style template to the Word doc
Insert the formatted headers/footers in the Word
adjust the Word doc page layout
Tables - Format the table properties to repeat the header row when the tables span page breaks and fix the table cell border to all have the same color
Generate a PDF
In Adobe Acrobat, insert the cover PDF into the newly generated doc PDF.

Am I missing a simple way to generate PDFs with the cover & styles that I need?

Fields in Headers and Footers in RoboHelp 11

I've been trying out the new Headers and Footers feature in RH11 for printed documentation.

When you create a master page to use as a basis for your header or footer there is are several buttons that appear on a toolbar when you view the header or footer for the master page. The buttons allow you to switch between header and footer, insert page numbers, and to insert the chapter name. When you insert the chapter name, the following HTML code is added to the master page:

name="pd-chap-name" value="&lt;&lt;PD Chapter Name&gt;&gt;" ?><<PD Chapter Name>><?rh-variable_end ?>

When you generate your Word document this variable is converted into the Word StyleRef field code {STYLEREF "Heading 1"\*MERGEFORMAT} and added to the header or footer, so the header or footer will display the next Heading 1 in your document. Unfortunately you don't seem to be able to use any other variables apart from the Chapter name variable. I would like to be able to specify that Heading 2 appears in the header or footer.

If you double click on the "pd-chap-name" variable in the master page the fields dialog opens and displays the default format for the field which is <<Chapter Name>>

Does anyone know how the syntax for the default format works? It's not documented anywhere as far as I can see.

Also is it possible to create fields in RoboHelp?

RoboHelp 11 - Bug when mapping RH styles to Linked Word styles in Printed Doc layout

When creating a Printed Pocumentation layout, RoboHelp 11 won't allow me to map RoboHelp styles to styles in my Word template that are defined as Linked styles.

What's a Linked style in Word? A horrible feature in Word that allows styles to be defined as "Linked" which means that they can be applied either as a character style or a paragraph style in Word depending on the context you apply them. You can see which styles in Word are defined as Linked because they have both the paragraph symbol and the character style displayed next to them in the Word style pane.

The problem is that most of Word's built in styles, like Body Text, Footer, etc are Linked styles. And no you can't change this and change the style back to a simple paragraph style. You can't even do this with VBA. Once a Linked style, always a Linked style it seems.

This means I cannot map a RoboHelp style called BodyText to the Word style Body Text for example, like I used to in RoboHelp 10. When I try to map RoboHelp styles in the Print Document Appearance dialog to the equivalent style in Word, RoboHelp won't let me select a style and tells me that "Preview is not available for muti-styles". And even that is wrong because it is not multi-styles that are the issues it is Linked styles.

So when the printed document is generated, RoboHelp now thoughtfully creates a new style in the Word document called "bodytext" and also styles for all the styles it won't allow you to map because they are Word Linked styles. Grrrr.

This is that only occurs in projects created in RoboHelp 11 when you create a new Printed Documentation layout. Projects I created in RoboHelp 10 that had a Printed Documentation Layout already defined that are opened and upgraded to RoboHelp 11 projects do not suffer this problem. However, create a new Printed Documentation layout in a project that has been upgraded to from RoboHelp 10 to 11 and the problem occurs.

It means that in order to map styles correctly you have to duplicate every Word style that you want to map that is defined as a Linked Style and make sure the Word style is not a Linked style, then remap all your RoboHelp styles to the new Word styles.

Can somebody please confirm this behavior and I will report it as a bug to Adobe.

I repaired microsoft office suite 2010, but again I get the same error.

Trying to generate PDF - 'No table of contents entries found'

Please can someone help?

I am trying to generate a PDF version of our Robohelp file (in Robohelp 10) for users to download (the file is a Help file for our software).

However, when I generate this via the 'Printed Documentation' option in Single Source Layouts, whether as PDF or Word doc, it only generates a two page document with the Printed Documentation Name on the first page, and 'No table of contents entries found' printed on the second.

The file was imported from an earlier version of Robohelp, if that helps.

Heading colours in Word output spill onto previous page?

Hi There,

The company I work for have a specific word document format that I must use when producing documentation, this consists of several heading styles that require fill colours behind white text.

The problem I have is when I generate my printed output to Word, the coloured heading on page two for example leaks over to the end of the paragraph on page one.

I have ‘start new topic on each page’ selected but I can’t find anything else to clear the problem. Is there something obvious that I am missing? Any help is much appreciated.

Background image disappears in printed documentation

I am trying to create a custom title page with a background picture covering the entire page.

Since the image should only show on the title page, I used “Format > Topic Borders and Shading” to add it. The image should cover the entire title page in MS Word and therefore has the same size.

(If this is important: I am not using a master page for the title page and the header/footer settings are set to “none” when generating the print output.)

When I generate the printed documentation, the background image does not show. When I preview the title page in the Section Layout right before generating the printed documentation, the title page still looks perfect.

What am I doing wrong?

Hi,

I am using RH 10 for the past few months.

I had imported few html files (with images) into RH and they seem to appear fine on preview (view selected item)

But while publishing into pdf, I find the images are missing the printed output. But the content remains the same.

Why is this so?

I am using RoboHelp 11 and would like to print pages using the Advanced Options - Include drop-down text option. I have discovered that this option does NOT work when the drop-down text is in a snippet.

Are there any known work-arounds for this "feature" besides copying and pasting the snippet content into the page being printed? While I know this works, it defeats the purpose of reusing the snippet and knowing where that content is being used throughout the project.

Printed_Documentation Crashes

Selecting Printed_Documenatation crashes more than half the time in RoboHelp 10.

There are two messages saying that RoboHelp has crashed and needs to close.

Map IDs to Destinations in PDF output - Possible?

I've searched for whether this can be done from Robohelp but all my queries are matching the FM Named Destinations to PDF, which I know how to use, but is not the particular goal. It seems there should be a way to convert MapIDs in RH to Destinations in PDF but I have not found anything that indicate the Printed Doc Single Source workflow supports this. I'm probably missing something obvious. :/

Hello,

I am using Robohelp 10. I have a project with several books and topics. When I generate a web help, everything is fine. But now, I have to generate a printed version of it. My problem is that on the table of contents of the generated document, the books are now shown. I need those books to be shown. Please advise.

I can not post the project I am using so I just used a very simple project which I created.

This is the original TOC.

and this is the resulting TOC in the printed document.

The books should still be part of the contents same with the original TOC.

I do not know what is wring with my set-up since I only used the default one. It will be great if you can reply to me ASAP since we need to publish our help document. Thanks a lot!

headings are duplicated in Printed Document

I noticed that some headings in my Printed Document were duplicated. I investigated and found that topics used as Books in the TOC had that problem: The first heading was duplicated in the Printed Document. I also happened to use the first heading as the topic heading. What is the solution to the problem?

I know I can delete such headings in the Word document after the Printed document is generated.

I've got a quite urgent problem, so I really hope somebody can tell me what's wrong.....

I've got an old RH file that needed revision. in the old file, it's no problem to make a printed documentation.
After revisioning it, the printed docomentation turns out to be empty :-(
RH is makeing it ok, but the files is empty - I've got 5 pages with nothing on it.

Ugly. Are there any tricks to get the printable (doc) output to match the online? Ideally, on the printed output, I'd like to have all the white space in my pseudo message box removed so it looks just like the online.

Numbers missing from second half of printed document

Here is a mystery for you. I have converted my rather large help project to a very large Word document and then PDF. The interesting behavior I am seeing is that about halfway through the document the numbers and bullets have disappeared. We have put the numbers and bullets in the same throughout the project but in the second half of the document they are missing. They are in place in the first half of the document.

The project has been around since RoboHelp X.5 and is now in RoboHelp 8. The projects are intermixed with what release they were created in. The document is 2334 pages long and I lose numbering and bullets after page 1133.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

RoboHelp 9 not generating Word 2013 document

I am trying to generate a Word document (Word 2013) from RH9. It goes through the generation process and just before it would normally offer to view the result (the Word document) the following message appears:

'A supported version of Microsoft Word does not exist. Please install Microsoft Word 2000 or newer'

Any ideas greatly appreciated.

So I author inside of RoboHtml and one of our outputs is a printed output.

I'm pretty sure RH doesn't have an option similar to Word's "Keep with next" option for Heading styles, but figured I'd ask to be safe?

If not, are there any workarounds to accomplish the same thing at the source level that doesn't involve post processing on the resulting doc file?

The Word VBA macro version registered is incorrect.

How do I create a PDF for review in landscape orientation using RoboHelp 10?

I want to create a PDF of a Help project with 110 topics, to send for review. First time, the PDF was in portrait and almost all of the images (screen shots from the application) run off the right side of the PDF page. I received comments from all of the reviewers about the images ... reviewers were concerned that the Help topics, when opened from the app, would look like the PDF.

How do I create a PDF for review in lanscape orientation?

Or, is there a way to shrink the images so each one fits on the page when the page is in portrait-orientation?

I have the Adobe Technical Communication Suite and Microsoft Office 2007 installed on my office computer. My operating system is Windows Vista. In RoboHelp HTML, I have been trying to generate printed documentation through the Single Source Layouts, but I receive the following error message every time: "Microsoft Word has not been started on this computer. Launch Word and click the 'Start using Microsoft Word' option before generating Printed Documentation again."

I have indeed opened Word--many times in fact--and I don't see an option for "Start using Microsoft Word," so I'm stumped.

I am an administrator on the computer, and I installed both Office 2007 and TCS, in that order, on my system.

In attempting to resolve the problem, I have
- Tried to generate printed documentation for both old and new projects
- Tried generating .doc, .docx, and .pdf files.
- Uninstalled TCS and Office 2007 and reinstalled them, with Office 2007 first and then TCS.
- Enabled all macros in Word 2007.
- Removed PDFMaker.dot, according to the suggestion on in the Print Issues section of Peter Grainge's Web site.

None of these attempts has corrected the problem. Interestingly, though, I can import a Word file into my RoboHelp
HTML project just fine.

If anyone has any suggestions for how to resolve this problem, I would be most grateful.

It seems a bit absurd that the creators of PDF don't have any way to output a RH10 project directly to a PDF without using Word. Perhaps I'm missing something but I don't get why the resulting PDF ALWAYS has a screwed up TOC. It doesn't recognize the bookmarks as does HTMLhelp or WebHelp. (My source docs are HTMs for all projects)
