We have a number of projects starting immediately for which we need several elearning instructional designers with strong Captivate skills to design and develop interactive software training courses.

The number of hours and duration of these contract positions will depend on the project or projects you work on. The hours are flexible as long as you meet your deliverables, and you are available for project meetings during regular business hours.

The requirements are pretty standard - ability to work without supervision and meet deadlines, strong communication skills, creative thinkers but with the ability to adhere to existing standards and styles.

Required skills include:
- Strong Captivate 6 and/or 7 and ability to create interactive content (must have own license)
- Solid understanding of, and experience with, different instructional design methodologies
- SnagIt or similar screen capture program
- Photoshop a plus
- Knowledge of SumTotal and/or Learning Maestro is a plus
- Ability to learn software applications quickly

My company is bidding on a job designing and building a 1.5 hour interactive course in Captivate, and we are seeking quotes from Captivate developers to handle the programming side.

The course will consist of learning modules that contain videos, animations, and interactive activities. We will be designing the course, creating the interface, and producing the videos and animations.

We need a developer who can:

- Assemble the videos and animations into each module.

- Create interactive activities (e.g. drag and drops, build and explores, multiple choice) and include them in the modules.

- Publish and test the course on the client's LMS.

We have designed and produced content for interactive courses many times before, and have programmed courses with simple activities like quizes, so we understand the process well.

I am searching for someone to help with Adobe Captivate. I work for a not-for-profit firm that works to improve criminal justice systems throughout the United States. We have been contracted by the federal government to develop a series of online courses to teach professionals in the criminal justice systems about what the research says are the most effective approaches to reducing recidivism. I have been trying to identify how to translate our ideas into a functioning and interactive online course, and it seems like there is at least a two step process after we develop the actual learning content -- authoring the course and then uploading and hosting the course. We are the at the authoring stage and it looked like Captivate might be a good way to go. Would you by any chance have a few minutes to talk about the process with me and lend me some of your experience with this? We may end up needing someone to do the actual authoring if that is something you can do and are interested in.

I work for a non-profit for financial professionals. We would like to use Adobe captivate to put together on-demand trainings for our constituents. We have already developed the content via ppt.and have audio files to go with them. The project would entail some editing of the mp3 files and using Captivate to merge the ppt with the audio. The recordings are 1.5 hours long. There is also a quiz that needs to be included. All quizzes have already been developed they would just need to be entered into the tool. Australian/NZ based - you'll need to troubleshoot with our client based in Australia during normal AU working hours. If you're outside AEST time zone, it simply won't work

My company is about to post a position for an eLearning Content Developer/Manager who has Captivate and Flash experience (I think they also might use Articulate as well). I could not think of a better place to post the position. It is not my position, but the Director hiring the person will be posting it this week. I am a Flash developer in the Marketing department, but I know he is looking for someone who is unique, fun, creative, and has experience creating/managing eLearning content within an eLearning University.
