Where did my app go?

I had to reload my Galaxy Note 10.1 (first edition) a couple weeks ago. I just noticed the PS Touch is not installed, so I tried going to Google Play to restore it, and found it asking me to pay $9.99.

I wasn't aware that I would have to pay for an app that came installed on my device, but it's not showing up in my My Apps listing anymore either. What gives? This wasn't a "subscription" I bought, it was software packaged with my device. I should have access to the old version, at least.

Is there any way for me to get the app back without paying for it? If not, well, good luck, guys... the "Express" version is not nearly compelling enough for me to make a decision about whether the newer version of Photoshop Touch is worth $10, when I have plenty of other options for tablet-art available.

Now my PS Touch is not saving any projects or the the Saved Projects Screen is black. I can live with loosing all my projects if I have to. Do I have to delete my PS Touch App and reinstall to get it working again?

Hi i have been using touch for a good bit of my workflow. its a wonderful app for both ipad and iphone. now i am confused on the new additions. photo shop mix and sketch. are they replacing photo shop touch or they an upgrade of touch. i have noticed with touch you cant import layer files from a desktop psd into touch. how come?

I Can no longer use this app. It's been broken for me for a while but I was hoping it would be patched. Basically, when I start a project all my photos seem to be available but the thumbnails are blank. Even if i click on a blank thumbnail it cannot load the file. Any pointers? PS: if anyone is considering "contact support" don't. There isn't any. You will trudge through options etc and it will send you back here

Whenever I open photoshop it looks as if my entire page has been zoomed out making everything on my page very very tiny and illegible. I would like to know how I could fix this it seems to be a settings issue but I can't figure out how to change it back to normal!

I can't use creative cloud on photoshop touch app on android anymore. I really want to know why this happens. I can log in and upload, or download files to cloud by web but I still can only see the message 'cannot connect to server'

On my Galaxy Note Tablet I synced all my projects to creative cloud from Photoshop Touch but I then cannot find them when I go online. It says no files in my account. I have lost all my files. I reset the device thinking they were safe but they are gone. Since resetting the same problem occurs. It says sync complete but no files appear online and the ammount of space used is always 0% . Help appreciated. God bless

When your files are stored in the Creative Cloud, you can access them on your mobile device using Adobe Photoshop Touch, or on your desktop computer using Adobe Photoshop. Photoshop Touch can open files in the following formats: PSD (flattened), PSDX, PNG, JPG, and GIF. And, with a free plug-in for Photoshop CS5, you can open the PSDX files created by Photoshop Touch in Photoshop. [Note: PSD files can only be opened via the Adobe Creative Cloud. The file is converted, layers are flattened to a single layer, and other info that is only supported in Photoshop is removed.]

Download the plug-in

1. In a browser on your desktop computer, navigate to the Creative Cloud Apps & Services page.

Note: Photoshop CC doesn't natively support importing Photoshop Touch projects (this will change with a future product update) - in the meantime the plugin can be installed manually as described here.

2. Sign-in to Creative Cloud using your Adobe ID and click download under "Touch App Plugins" to start the download and install process. Included with the installer is a plug-in for Illustrator CS5 and CS5.1, which enables opening of Ideas files (.idea) in Illustrator, and a plug-in for Photoshop CS5, CS5.1, which enables opening of Photoshop Touch files (.psdx) in Photoshop.

3. You will be asked (if you haven't already) to install the Adobe Application Manager, follow the steps to install the manager, and the Touch App Plugin should begin the download and installation process. If it does not, click install next to the "Touch App Plugins" icon in the Adobe Application Manager to start the process.

4. You're all set to start opening your PS Touch files in Photoshop CS6.

Upload a file from Photoshop Touch to the Creative Cloud

1. In Photoshop Touch on your mobile device, ensure that you are in the organizer view. (Tap the arrow in the upper-left corner of the screen to move from edit view to the organizer view.)

2. Tap to display the share menu, and touch Upload To Creative Cloud.

3. Select the file to upload, and follow the steps to sign in and upload your file.

Open a Photoshop Touch file in Photoshop CS6

1. On your desktop computer, launch a browser and navigate to the Creative Cloud website.

2. Sign in, and navigate to your Photoshop Touch file.

3. Click the checkbox to select your file, then choose download and select a location on your hard drive.

4. Launch Photoshop CS5, and open the Photoshop Touch (PSDX) file.

Open a Photoshop CS6 file in Photoshop Touch

1. On your desktop computer, save your file in Photoshop CS5. (You can save the file with layers, but layers are flattened when the file is opened in Photoshop Touch.)

2. In a browser, navigate to the Creative Cloud website.

3. Sign in, and upload your Photoshop CS5 file to the Cloud.

4. On your mobile device in Photoshop Touch, use any of the add image options, such as Create new from image. Tap New from Creative Cloud, and navigate to your Photoshop CS5 file.

Using an iPad with iOS8 I can't import images from the iPad Albums. All I see when I click on the Touch albums are a couple of images saved to CC. Any ideas what I might be doing wrong? Thanks,

Hello, Here is the sequence of my steps I do up to when I get the problem. I click on upload to creative cloud in ps touch, then I select files to upload, all fine, then I put in my email and password - I have no problem with them, they work fine, I checked on the website. Right after it should sign me in, I get this message: lost connection. please check your connection and try again. My internet connection is working very fine at the moment I sign in through ps touch - keep that in mind. This message keeps showing each time I try to sign in. I have no idea what is wrong. Please help me!

Whenever I try to share a photo from my iPad via Messages , the photo often fails to be generated. Furthermore the messages box cannot be cancelled/dismissed. This seems to be a bug.

it doesn't save my projects, and everytime i close the app, it resets. Then it shows the tutorial, and license agreement again.

ive tried reinstalling, I've tried resetting my iPad. It still doesn't work.

I know this is an old question, but with Android devices outselling apple devices and technology advancing in Android faster than Apple, why is it Adobe is abandoning touch apps for Android? My Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 and Galaxy Note 3 are perfect for that app. There are more filmmakers and designers using Android powered products out there than people realize. So, please, Adobe, give us these apps. Especially if you are developing apps in the same way you allow us to develop, there should be NO REASON for you not to be able to flip a switch and spit out an Android version.

That being said... I still love and support you.

I am trying to email a file built in Touch and now every time I do the email window stays on, and I can't return back to the application. The only way I can return to the Application is to close it, wait a few minutes, then re-open it. Only after doing all this can I return to what I am doing in Touch. This problem repeats after every time I email a Touch file. Very awkward and this just started happening. It never did before so I wonder if this problem is from a recent update - Apple or Adobe - that has gone wrong.

We are experiencing this issues on a number of iPads. When students create projects they are either not saving or when they go back to access a saved project the next day, the project is gone. Is there a way to correct this?

I have photoshop elements 12 (updated to 12.1) And i use Photoshop Touch (version 1.6.1) for my Galaxy tab, (which is stock - un-rooted)

I know when i first installed it, any photos i dragged into mobile albums showed up in my Photoshop Touch app.

Now something seems to have changed. The app only has import images via local/creative cloud/camera/google/facebook.

I know Elements 12 is uploading them to Revel, because i can see them online in my Revel Account.

I've installed the Revel app to my tab, and the photos are there.

So if the photos are in the cloud and my Revel app see's them, why are they not showing up in my Photoshop app.

And why is there a creative cloud import option, but no revel import option.

Can someone explain the difference between CreativeCloud and Revel....

All i want to do is edit a few images every now and then on my Tab. but PLEASE how do i get it working again?

NO matter how many projects i make and save the homescreen in photoshop touch stays empty. I can't access my saved files Because they won't show up. Also my projects won't upload to creative cloud. And in homescreen app won't let me make folders. Where's the problem? I do absolutely nothing with this app if i can not save..

How do I access files I've already created on PS touch once i've started a new project. I am trying to create a collage with several bits I've extracted and saved on PS touch. I want to add these bits in separate layers. However I can't access these files. Can only access camera roll, photostream and google.

I don't have a membership for the creative cloud. Is that the problem?

I really want to refund ps touch for tablets to buy ps for phone but it seemeed that adobe didn't like to do this.I bought it when google play only allowed 30-minute refund ,so it was not enough for me to download and experience it.I found it sometimes fc on my xoom but I didn't know where to contact until they told me to discuss here.I just want to change to phone version because the experience of tablet version was terrible.I hope adobe can think about it.

I'm a heavy Photoshop Touch user, with the last version of the app and iOS 8 on an iPad Air, and lately I often can't save the files I've been working on: the app suddenly quits as soon as I try to save the often multilayered image, but also lighter photographs. If I restart the app, it doesn't help.

I have a lot of files in my PS Touch library. I don't know how many exactly, or how much the whole library weighs. I have plenty of space available on the iPad (42 GB free) however, so that's not the issue. I've been uploading files to the Creative Cloud lately, and deleting them afterwards from the PS Touch library on the iPad, but there are still hundreds of files in that library which were not uploaded to CC because I didn't yet have access, and which I therefore can't delete yet to make room.

Attempts to automatically sync all files to CC have failed. The app unexpectedly quits.

Uploads to CC of the files is possible in small groups —but extremely tedious, impossible in fact as there are too many files. I can't even scroll down the library very far without provoking a freeze of the app.

Furthermore, it doesn't look like I can extract the files through iTunes. I can't see the library of documents contained in PS Touch on iTunes. I subscribe to the Creative Suite on Creative Cloud, but that's of no help, I imagine. Except that I'd perhaps be able to open all the PSDX files in Photoshop cc if I was able to retrieve them.

Question: Assuming there is a memory problem, is there any way of extracting a large number of PS Touch files from the iPad to make room and clean the app up, so that I can work with it again?

Any other idea so that I don't lose all this work?

When working with Photoshop, I use to create a new canevas the same size of a photo in order to crop that photo without loosing any pixel, and it works just fine. I tried the same procedure with Ps Touch, without success. Is that only possible? Please help!

I have PS Touch on my tablet. My files will not sync. When I turn on sync, I get a progress bar on each individual file, but when it fills, there is an exclamation mark next to the filename. What is going on? Please advise me. This is very frustrating!
