Welcome move by Apple to allow transfer of Apps between developers

Very welcome move by Apple and I already see it as a boon to DPS Agency model workflow.

Two major issues with Agency model were -

1) Transfer of Folios from one agency's DPS account to another agency's DPS account. This has been taken care of by Adobe sometime back and isn't an issue anymore, as I understand.

2) Once the App is published on Apple's marketplace, i.e, App Store, by an agency the publisher outsources his work to, the ownership of the App can't be transferred to some other agency down the line. Up until now, this was a major issue in DPS agency model workflow, but has now been resolved with the recent announcement t by Apple.

According to Apple "Apps can now be transferred from one developer to another within iTunes Connect, for example after an acquisition or when a distribution deal expires. Transferring the ownership of an app does not affect the app’s availability on the App Store. All ratings and reviews will be transferred and your customers will continue to have access to all available app updates."

https://itunesconnect.apple.com/downloads/Documentation/AppTransferTutorial.mov?itcKey=137 0630448_fc97cf6acd61ef8a87ee5e5087c18a7b

Why 8 bit PNG's?

24bit PNG's support 100% transparency and millions of colors, and work well as icons on iOS. Whereas 8bit PNG's support only variable transparency and have ltd color pallette. If an icon has a continuous tone, an 8-bit image will destroy it completely. Refer to step by step guide for publishing iPads Apps with DPS-SE, page 38. Please correct me in case I'm missing something here and need to know.
