Is this an email scam?

I have had an Adobe online account for some time (a couple of years). I logged in today to download some brushes and then got an email about 1 minute later saying:

Name and email removed with square brackets surrounding what I've deleted.

Since I created my address years ago why would I be sent this email now? And clearly since I am logged in posting this, I don't need to varify anything. Has someone/something hacked Adobe servers? Of is this just an error on Adobe's part?

My export presets for PDF(print) are missing.

I have InDesign CS6. I went to export a file and I only have [custom] and standard (1). The normal settings such as "smallest file size", "high quality print" and "Press quality print" are all gone. Does anyone know how to fix this? And why this problem happened in the first place?

It seems it's just another problem to add to a long list which haults my work and wastes so much of my time. Is it too much to expect that an expensive program which my company paid for should just work?

If it makes any difference I am using Windows 7.

Any assistance is much appreciated.

How do I download Adobe Creative Suite 6 Design Standard through the "Download Assistant"?

It's not listed as one of the products in the "Feature" products. I was trying to download it from the http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=design_standard&loc=en_gb page but all I can download is the assistant, no matter what products I'm actually trying to download. I need to download this particular suite because I have bought it and have a product key but don't have it downloaded (long story).

Snap to objects - seems to be turned off

Hello,

I have CS6.

After coming back from holidays it seems my snap to objects feature and the "green lines" are turned off (something I may have done somehow...who knows). That is when an object gets close to the line of another object it used to snap/click into place, instead of me having to manual line it up on super zoom-in.

Does anyone know how to turn it back on?

Also, I've never been able to snap to the margins, is this another feature I can turn on?

I accidentally deleted my toolbar. How do I get it back?

I was trying to move it and I clicked the "X" in the corner. It is the bar down the left of the screen with arrows, text, boxes and all that stuff you need.

How do I get it back?

I have CS6.

Trouble with Hyperlinks window/panel.

I recently set get CS6 and was trying to set up my windows. I opened hyperlinks and was adjusting the cross-references part (trying to push it down) and it seemed to "snap" to the top of the Hyperlinks Window. I can't drag it back down and I can't see my hyperlinks anymore just "Cross-References". Please help!

Hello,

I know how to remove other colours from the swatches pannel and therefore force my document to only be in two colours but how do I import pictures and force them into the two colours? I have tryed to create a graph using only black and the PMS colour I'm using but I think there could be some still be some CMY colours "hiding", or the PMS colour I've used in Photoshop isn't exactly the same one as the one I have in InDesign.

I want to be able to make my document into only black and my PMS colour, or at least, export using only these two. Any CMY colours or different PMS colours should convert/change/be removed. And the printer guy is happy. Please let me know if this is possible.

GREP question - spaces before am & pm

Hello,

I am wondering if there is a GREP which will find a number with an am or pm and add a space between the number between the am or pm?

My contributers to the magazine I typeset keep typing times in as "7pm" for example, our style says it should be "7 pm". Changing these by hand is a pain.

I'm fairly new to photoshop but know the basics. I often get photos like this. I've searched for tutorials but can't find any good ones. Anyone have a link to a tutorial or could point me in the right direction. I've tryed brightness/contrast, shadows/highlights and had a go at levels.

Lightening the image or doing a shadow/highlight works for some of the image but the man at the back is still in the dark.
