HotFix4 create hot bug :-(

Hello,

I've just update DIr12 with the HotFix4 (now the version is 12.0.9r149); before the update, I use 12.0.4.

Since the update , my iOS app leave randomly.

I tried to take the exact same file that worked in the old version, I published and I see the same error. But if I use an old version it works :-(

My iPad is version iOS7 .

How can I do to get back to the version before the " HotFix4 " or better to eliminate this problem ?

It feels a little lonely when developing in Director . It's a shame , because I started using Director when he was still called VideoWorks ...

From some days ago, an error appers on iOS

I developing a Kiosk on iOS platform (iPad), based on Director.

For several days, an error "Handler not defined : #cameraPosition" has been appearing.

I don't use any handler with this name and if I search in the script case, I don't find any text like that.

I've found a property with this name in the doc, but this is for 3D cast and I don't have any 3D cast in my movie.

Somebody has some idea?

A Xtra to access the iOS functions?

Hi,

Apple deliver a lot of specifics functions for differents actions in an App or between App and another or between an APP and some IOS information.

Perhaps somebody (Or Adobe) can develop a Xtra IOS compatible for use these functions ...

An idea for the next update of Director...

I've not really understand how we can use the URL scheme.

My view is to open an other app in the same iPhone/iPad. For example if I'll copy somme data in a new note.app.

Exact?

Somebody have an exemple or the exact method?

Data from iOS app

Hello,

I'll extract data saved from an iOS app; the iPad isn't connected.

I can save data to preference file and it's work perfectly. But after that how can I extract this file from the local iPad?

Can I write to an USB key connected with the Apple adaptor and if yes which instruction and/or path may I use?

An other way is to write to another app sandbox (e.g. local directory of DropBox or DocsToGo) but I don't find the right Lingo instruction and path to make that.

Is it possible to pick-up system information from iOS platform (battery level e.g.)

Hello,

I'm trying to pick-up some system information from iOS platform in a specific Director app.

I'll show my own picture of battery level for example or the name of wi-fi network.

Perhaps some Xtra can answer to that.

Hello,

I'm searching a solution for many days ago for import data or image through Internet network into D12 ios app?

Several solutions may exist perhaps:

1) Access with an url to a text file

2) Access with an URL to a picture

3) Access with an URL to link to a database

And the other quesstion is : wich lingo instruction can I use (importfileinto, gotonet sommething,...)
