I have been having major issues with my Adobe Creative Cloud Account. The problem started when I had a normal subscription, then upgraded to Team for additional space. Due to changes in my team I reverted back to normal subscription 3 months later. I had hoped that I could just update my monthly subscription to one subscription... but No!! Adobe said I couldnt restart my normal subscription and I had to start a new one, so I did. I then tried to cancel my Team subscription and they say every month that they have. Yet every month I still get charged for it along with my new and old normal subscriptions. (3 CC Payments per month)

I have tried cancelling my Adobe Creative Cloud Subscrition for 5 months. Time and time again Adobe keep saying that its cancelled and every month I get charged. I have to go through support and battle for refunds and spend hours of my time speaking to overseas support operators going over the same stupid things.

Adobe support is hopeless and I have raised over 10 support cases to sort this and well over 15 hours of my time to rectify the situation. Time and Time again Adobe escalate it, say they have fixed then every month I get billed for my Team on the 8th of the month then billed for 2 x normal subscriptions on the 18th of every month.

It has now got to the stage that I am sick of support and I need to look at alternatives to sort this. My bank cant cancel it because it is not a direct debit or a standing order. Adobe has my card details and it lies with them to cancel it. The only option the bank said I can choose is to cancel my cards.

Adobe Can you please cancel my Adobe please. I wish to cancel everything as I have had enough.

Interactive presentation on Ipad (web/digital publishing?)

I currently have to re-design a flash presentation as it doesnt work on the ipad.

Its pretty simple with simple navigation, slides, video and some swfs I will convert into AVi.

My question is what is the best software/tools to use for the job?

I am considering digital publishing in indesign or HTML 5 and would appreciate some advice as to what others would use.

I have creative cloud subscription, but looking into it more do I need to pay more for Digital Publishing Suite or can I just do a web version? I dont need an app or anything, just something that runs on the ipad, mac/pc, ideally option for offline also.

Below are the requirements

• Design and setup a interactive presentation (touch, slide screen)
• Compatible with ipad/mobile devices online and offline.

• Navigation that works well with touch-screen on ipad, smart phones mac/pc etc

Preferred additions
Android tablet devices

Viewing DPS on TVs (Full Screen) and Removing Black Bars bottom and top of page.

We have designed a digital publication for one of our clients on their ipad and they want to be able to present this on tv (full screen).

It only partially fills the screen with large black areas at the bottom and top and we want to try and fill it a bit more.

Does anyone have any ideas how we can achieve this?

Also, the black bars that keep popping up at the bottom/top of the page when you click on certain parts of the screen can be a bit annoying.

Does anyone know how we can remove these?

Viewing my DPS publication in windows / desktop

I have created a DPS Publication for one of my clients and want to be able to view it on windows 8 devices and desktops.

What is the best way to do this? Export the Folio and drag and drop it into content viewer or can I share as a link to open up in Adobe Content Viewer.

Problems logging into Creative Cloud software (Requesting Serial Number)

I used to have a standard Creative Cloud subscription and recently upgraded to Team.

When I now start up my software it is asking me to renew my subscription. I click in Licence this software and put my Adobe ID in and it keeeps asking me for a Serial Number. I have been on the chat to support several times and no one is able to help me. They have now told me to contact support by phone tomorrow. I have already wasted 4+ hours today on it.

This is so frustrating that I cant use my software and I need to resolve this asap.

Does anyone have any ideas why it wont let me log in and is asking for a serial number?

PDFs appear faded in Creative Cloud

I like to share my pdfs with my client, but they appear very faint and faded in the cloud and dont represent the true full colour.

These are fine when you download the original pdf, but it doesnt look very professional in the creative cloud preview where we would like to encourage our clients to view and comment in.

I have designed a 30 article publication and one of my articles has a scrollbar down the right hand side that moves down as you move from slide to slide.

This only happens in one slide.

Does anyone know how to remove it?

Pixelated Buttons on ipad

I have mada a digital presentation and it looks great.

My buttons, however look pixelated. Text and outlines when viewing on the ipad.

This only happens when you convert an object into an interactive button and appears fine without this.

Is there anyway round this. I have already converted my presentation into PDF format.

I have been working on a digital publication for a while and am almost finished. Its 115mb with 30 articles.

Today it keeps sticking at 80% when im updating my articles. Its so frustrating as I need to complete today and its almost there.

The updates I am doing are minor to already existing articles and my internet wifi perfect.

Is there size limit? Server issues?

Seamless MP4 Videos / Starting First images

I have 100 mp4 videos that I converted from flash to MP4 and these are all seamless, ie when I had them in flash it previewed first animation, it views fine then goes straight into next animation seamlessly.

I had to convert all my files into mp4 to run in digital publishing, but I am having some issues keeping them viewing seamlessly going from slide to slide.

First of allthe videos are all fine. I have imported all my MP4s in different slides, same size with 'stop at last image' selected. These work and view fine apart from a slight gap break at the beginning of each video. (I wanted to make this seamless), so...

I tried all the options like adding starting image in media, standard, from current frame and also the select file option, My jpgs are exact matches for the video starting images.

But when I seem to click next slide, these are very jumpy and some times I see the wrong image for split second.

These work fine when I slide it, its only when I click next slide button to load the next page/video.

Does anyone have any idea how I can make this as seamless as possible.

Cropping videos in Digital Publishing or overlay on top of videos

I am working on a digital publication just now and it has loads of MP4 Videos.

These have black lines at the top and bottom of each video. I tried cropping the video frame size in indesign, but that just reduces the video size and doesnt work the same as cropping images.

I have also tried putting a grey box to cover the lines, but the video just seems to come to the front everytime when viewing in content viewer.

Can anyone suggest how I can hid these lines without having to re-edit 500 videos??

Stopping MP4s at last frame DP?

Does anyone have any solutions to import MP4s in to my DP and have them stop at the last frame?

I have read about the Multi State solution, but this is really not very practical as I have hundred of videos that link to each other and I need them to play seamlessly one after the other?

When I add a screenshot image at the beginning and the end, the colours are different and it makes it look terrible.

Any ideas would be appreciated?

Multi State Object Buttons / Linking to new page

I am doing a presentation that I want to navigate through the whole thing using Next/Previous Buttons.

This works great for all slides using 'Go to Next/Previous Page'

When I come to my contents list some other animated diagrams, I still want to use my buttons and want them to navigate through the list until the end, then go to next slide.

Problem is... I had to change my navigation buttons to 'Go to Next/Previous State' for Multi state object pages to navigate through lists using my buttons.

Is there anyway I can tell it navigate to a completely new slide after it reaches the last state object?

I have a digital presentation that has several content lists on some pages.

I want the list to be interactive so when I touch the screen or swipe it the text changes colour.

Some lists I also want to bring up an image when text is touched.

Is this possible using indesign and digital publishing?

What is the best way to convert these .swf videos into a video format I can use in DPS?

Is there a converter tool I can use? or quick way to do this? What is best format?

Cant Add Article Digital Publication (CS6)

I cant add articles in my indesign digital publication. Any ideas why its greyed out and I cant add?

I can create a new Folio, just unable to add articles.

Interactive Presentation, App help, Licence required?

I am designing an interactive presentation in indesign for a client. I need to convert it into an app as the client wants to be able to view it offline on his ipad. The App is just going to be for personal use, so we are not selling and want to keep it private. I also need to make some changes to it in the future.

Questions?

What licence do I need of DPS (Is Single Edition ok)?

Is there recurring costs?

Can I specify that it should be private in the App store?

Am I able to make changes to the app in the future?

Also, why do we not get the Single Edition until later 2012, I need this now and its available?
