Web App Search Form

Is it possible to search two (2) custom fields with one form field?

Think Prosecuting Attorney and Defense Attorney - We believe that users of our site may not remember which side they were on, but that a particular attorney was involved in a case. So I don't want them to have to specify prosecution or defense... but just a name search that will search those custom fields.

Am I making sense? Is this possible?

Highlight Keywords in web app search

Anyone able to lend a hand? I'm wanting to highlight the words within the search results of a webapp search. I.e. they search the keyword "family" and I'd like for the word "family" to be highlighted in the search results listed (for quicker skimming of the results). I'm assuming there is some js/jquery that would need to be used, but any advice on implementing this would be helpful.

Multiple Random Web App Items

Am I missing something... or is there no way to dictate that I want 3 web app items to be chosen randomly to be displayed from the entire list of possible web app items?? Hopefully this is an oversight on my part... seems like this would be a common need... Thanks for your help!

Mailing Lists - Auto Unsubscribing Members

Hard bounces (looks like ALL aol and comcast email addresses) - are causing subscribers to be automatically unsubscribed and removed from my mailing list. This is happening with 2 clients of mine (maybe more). Can someone explain what is going on here? Anyone else having trouble?

Podcasts and BC

I've read a bit about a possibility of creating a "Streaming Media/Media Downloads" to Blog to RSS to Feedburner to iTunes solution for using BC to create a bit of a podcast. The RSS feeds for web-apps don't seem to be functioning properly currently, but I'd like to know if you should be able to create a Web App for MP3s, and send THAT rss feed to feed burner to iTunes. Or, just for the sake of gettin'r done, is there a slam dunk podcast solution for BC that someone can throw my way?

Secure Page lock icon on browser

Events: Preview Item Description/Body in List View??

I'm using the display individual random event in a sidebar. I don't want to show the entire item description in the sidebar. Is there a way I can just get a snippet of that item description? I.e. First Paragraph?

Problem submitting form in iframe in IE

I'm using BC for content for a Facebook Tab App (which for the most part is a great fit) - when trying to submit a form through Internet Explorer, BC gives me a "Unathorized User" error?? Working perfect in ALL other browsers (of course).

I've narrowed the problem to this:

Communication between Explorer and Business Catalyst when submitting a form through an Iframe.

Anyone, and I mean ANYONE have any idea about this?

Currently I have the secure zone login form (form elements not visible via css) on the page and the "Submit your photo" is actually logging them in. When clicked in IE (again, in the Iframe) it kills it.

Add Facebook like module to indiv web app item

I'm calling to the Facebook module (I've done the developer side, got the code, put it in my container) - but it only links to the page the web app list is displayed on - not an individual item - HELP! Anyone got a solution for this?

BC Provided javascript not loading in Internet Explorer

I'm trying to create a web app form that anonymous users can use. I found the snippet of code (below) in the BC Resources:

This works great in all browsers BUT Internet Explorer (go figure). All other JS is loading and working fine, but when a user attempts to submit the web app customer input form, it goes to the "you need to log in to the secure zone" screen.

Anyone see any syntax problem in the JS - am I missing something? I there a work around? On a tight deadline - I'd appreciate any help.

(I've created the anonymous user, and the user/pass are correct in the code - again, it's working in everything but IE)

Web App Search Results Page

I'm not new to BC - but I must be over looking something. I have a Web App Search form on a page, I have removed the results module, I have exchanged the new results page for the {module oid} (or whatever it is) and placed the search results tag on the search page I'm pointing to...

The functionality works fine ON the same page - but the system can't seem to find the page (i.e. Page Not Found) when I try to move the search results to the new page. Please help me! I'm sure it's something stupid I'm overlooking - but I'm going nuts! Thanks!
