State Tax Provincial Tax

Hey there,

I have an US client that is selling online & need to know how we handle "Provincial / Regional Tax" - as this is different to "State Tax...

LA State Tax = 4%

Ouachita Parish Tax = 5.6%

The Ouachita Parish tax should only apply to sales that have originated from this region.

I am not sure how this is done - as it should be related to a Zipcode number range.

Where do I find "render screen media type" in Dreamweaver CC

Sorry if this is a stupid question... But where has the "Render Screen Media Type' button/menu item gone in DW CC?

I am a little confused now using the new Dreamweaver CC.

BC - Strange Happenings?

Hi All,

Can anyone else elaborate on the mysterious happenings that I am experiencing in my BC Site?

With the following changes taking place;

Webforms changing themselves
Content disappearing for the clients site
Dynamic Menu Root Items reordering themselves

I have spoken to “Live Chat” about the above problems & unfortunately my request for explanations has thus far lead to nothing.

Have any other partners been able to have BC check these strange happening – by looking into previous back up version of the Data Centre? Surely BC has these?

On a funny note, the last “Live Chat” consultant asked me for proof… he wanted to see screenshots of the menu prior to it being mysteriously changed! Is he serious?

The dynamic menus root item structure has also change by itself in our Responsive BC Templates also…

I haven’t check all of our templates or clients sites as yet, but it seems to be related to the AU Data Center & I suspect that it has something to do with the outage last Saturday night…

Any comments would be appreciated, as I am starting to feel that I am going mad…

Secure Zone - Webforms & User Login Details Disappeared?

Hey All,

Has anyone else experienced Web forms & Users disappearing with no explanation?

Well I am experiencing the above right now…. It seemed to start yesterday afternoon – with 21 web forms vanishing from my clients secure zones! They are still showing up in the list of web forms, but when you fill any of them out, I receive the following error message;

ERROR: “You have deleted your web form. Please login to the Admin panel of your website and remove the previously submitted form from the web page you last visited. You will need to recreate this web form by going to Modules -> Webforms. After recreating simply insert this new web form into the web page and your web form should work properly.”

Now I cannot login as a user…. This is also after resetting my password!

My client doesn’t have access to the back end & I am the only one here in the studio that dose.

So, I would like to know if anyone else has been experiencing the same???

On another note, anyone else having Dreamweaver CS6 constantly crashing when trying to interact with the server? Something to do with the new SFTP - me thinks! - And before you suggest submitting a "Support Case" this doesn't work either! I tried submitting a "Support Case" ticket so that I could transfer some templates that another partner had purchased from https://www.responsivebc.com/ after being flamed in an email from support stating that I am not allowed to submit a support case thru "Live Chat" & must perform said transfers via a "Support Case" which doesn't work...

I guess that it is just as well that we are able now to perform our own fully automated template transfer process at Responsive BC that now works in real time & is both done & controlled by us. So for any of the Partners that have had to wait previously, let me take this opportunity to apologise!

My bad, I can now login to the secure zones - I swear it didn't work before....
