We're working on ramping up our e-commerce, and we're consistently frustrated with how antiquated the BC platform is.

I know there are code workarounds, but for the life of me I can't understand why BC hasn't adjusted product feed to be compatible with Google.

What gives?

How to change the "n/a" message when stock level unavailable

When and if a product is not inventory controlled or the in stock quantity is unknown, the "In Stock" tag on the product page will read "n/a".

How do I change the "n/a" message? Customer think that stock is unavailable but I want to replace the "n/a" message with "Available".

Change subject of webform email (not the autoresponder, email going to customer's friend)

We've created a web submission form where customers can send an email to a friend of their choice letting them know that all they want for Christmas is a giftcard to our shop.

There are easy options for customizing the autoresponder that goes back to the original user, but I can't figure out how to change the subject of the email that goes to their friend.

Right now, it's saying "Referral to site".

Where is the code for this? Is it something we code into the webform/page or is there somewhere in the system where you customize referral emails?

Angry customers can't unsubscribe

I've recently been receiving angry emails from customers complaining that they've tried repeatedly to unsubscribe from the mailing list but are still receiving emails. Why is this happening? I read through the documentation and BC notes that unsubscribe requests only unsubscribe someone from THAT campaign which is ridiculous because that means they will still get the next one. Why doesn't the default unsubscribe that is added to the bottom of our emails give the option to unsubscribe from ALL communications?

Help! Hundreds of delivery report emails

Help!! Today we started receiving hundreds of delivery report emails reporting a bounce to a Yahoo address we never mailed to. How can we make them stop?

My emails are bouncing back

I've been trying all day to send email to one of my employees but the emails keep bouncing back to me.

This is the error message I receive (I edited email addresses with x's for security):

Is it possible to set up BC e-commerce to allow fractional product quantities?

We sell fabric by fractions, i.e. .5 yards, 1 yard, 1.5 yards.
