Round tripping between Audition and Premiere CC

Hello,

After upgrading to the latest CC the audio only plays back as white noise. Here is my workflow.

1. In Premiere I right click on a clip on the timeline

2. Select "edit in Audition"

3. Once in Audition I normalize -0.3 the audio than do hard limit -0.1

4. I then apply noise reduction to remove any unwanted background noise

5. Play the audio with in Audition and it checks out fine

6. Save my Audition audio files and exit Audition

7. Back in Premiere I play the clip and the audio only play's white noise.

I've done this workflow more times than I can count and never have add this problem. Can someone help out?

New setup with Yosemite and CC 2014 Speedgrade

Sg will not open for me at all. I was able to use it before when running Mavericks and before the latest update to CC 2014. I was thinking it had something to do with my Yosemite installation, but after doing a fresh install of everything it still will not open. Am I the only one having this problem?

How to roll back from the last CC update?

I can't believe the problem I'm getting with Premiere and not getting help to resolve it. I thought with CC I could roll back to an older version. Everything was working fine until this last update. please help

Audio not working between Audition and Premiere

Hello All,

I just upgraded to the latest CC and now when I "edit in Audition" from Premiere it works fine until I make my changes in Auditions and go back to Premiere. Once I get back in Premiere my audio is only noise/static. If I go back to Audition the audio is fine. Has anyone else had this problem?

Mercury Playback Engine stop working in Premiere CC 2014

Hello All,

After upgrading to the latest CC 2014 I've been experiencing issues with real time editing when working in Premiere. I've checked to make sure that CUDA is selected and it is, but I'm not getting the performance from the CUDA. I've changed the settings to "Software" and I get the same results when changing between the two. I also noticed that the CUDA is now available in "Media Encoder CC 2014" but I'm not sure if it's really using it or not, just like Premiere I can see the CUDA is available.. I also upgraded to the latest NVIDIA driver which I'm not ruling that out either. Please help.

rasterize not working in AE?

Hello,

When I create a "Shape Layer" I'm unable to make any changes to the layer via the rasterize. It will not let me deselect it. The sun icon is in the box next to the shy box. The reason why I'm asking for help is any shape that I add in AE is not being effected by the rasterize and shows jagged edges in text or shapes. Do I have to select something in options for this to work? I've googled for this but I've only found info talking about .Ai files. Or, is that the only way to take advantage of the rasterize?

How to create transitions for Premiere?

Hello All,

I've looked and looked to see how I can create transitions for Premiere, and I keep coming up short. I'm on a Mac and I can create transitions in Motion 5 for FCPX. But I always been an Adobe guy... It's just frustrating that I can't seem to find any help creating them for Premiere. I was hoping After Effect would do the trick? Maybe a 3rd party app can do it?

Let me clear... I know how to apply a transition to my clips. What I'm looking for is how to create a costume transition. Example: my have an object / artwork as the transition.

Please help.

bitrate setting

Hello Tim,

I was getting the same problem until I turn the "Target Bitrate [Mbps]: all the way down and the "Maximum Bitrate [Mbps]: all the way up. I'm not sure why this did the trick for me, but it worked. Here is a screenshot of my export setting for the Bitrate. I hope this helps you. I've looked and looked and no one ever said any thing that I could find about the Bitrate. Please, if anyone could shed some light on the "Bitrate Setting" it would be great.
