Flash Builder / Flash Player / 64 bit OS issues.

Hi,

I'm trying to compile a flex application using my flash builder, and as soon as I hit Control+F11 I can see a browser instance (IE 8) getting opened with a swf "loading" preloader, but nothing comes up after that and all I can see is a blank white screen.

I've tried installing Flash Player / Flash Player ActiveX for 64 bit operating systems, but nothing worked out.

Can anyone shed some light?

ColdFusion and Connect:Direct (a.k.a NDM - Network Data Mover)

Hi All,

Our client is looking for an alternate for FTP and it seems they might go for IBM's Connect:Direct (previously known as NDM - Network Data Mover).

Can anyone share the feasibility of accomodating this Connect:Direct software as an replacement for current FTP activities?.

Came across an error stating "Error #3003" while accessing the "Template Exchange" Tab. (Screenshot attached below).

It would be nice if the error message has some description along with it. (instead of just showing the error number).

Hi,

Whenever there is a version update, you are showing the bug fixes / new features / Enhancements in the updater splash screen. And the moment when we click the "Update" button, it vanishes and some times we tend to loose all those information.

Why can't we put up a "release notes" page for every version so that it will help us to know about the bug fixes, features and enhancements?.

Hi,

Tried creating my first rome swf content by choosing the "flower shop" template, modified the text content presented in that. After saving the same in my drive, I tried publishing it as "SWF" by choosing "Flash" through "Output -> Flash (.swf)", but while testing that in my google chrome, It was just showing me the loader animation and I couldn't able to get the content after that.

Here is my environment,

Microsoft Windows Vista Professional.

Flash Player 10.1

Hi,

Trying to to deploy ColdFusion MX7 EAR over WebSphere V7 Application server, The installation was success, However while launching the ColdFusion Administrator we are encountering this error.

Error 500: coldfusion.server.ServiceFactory$ServiceNotAvailableException: The Security service is not available.

Can anyone help us on this?.

Unable to select 'Art Text' object.

Hi,

Not sure whether this happens only to me. I just added one image (jpg) through Insert -> File options changed it opacity, then I selected the art text tool for adding some text.

But after adding the art text and when I tried to select the text, Instead of selecting the art text, I was only able to select the background jpg.

Can anyone shed some light here?.

Tooltip missing in the "Objects" panel.

It seems tooltip texts are missing in the object panel (with the small icons being displayed there). Would be nice if we can have that.

Hi,

Not sure If I can term this as a bug. :-)

The "Categories" panel which gets opened (while selecting the "Create New" menu) has one dropdown control located at the top whcih retains only one category value (which is being selected by the user) where it should display all the templates pertaining to the category which is currently selected.

Correct me if I am wrong.

I just want to know whether the websphere application server only supports EAR/WAR kinda CF applications or we can run our apps in the normal way by placing CFM files inside virtual directories?

The thread title says that it is answered, but when I went there to check which answer is correct, I found nothing there (I mean no start symbols etc.). Is that a bug?.

Also each and every time when we visit a thread I can see the "views" count getting increased +1, and I hope it should show only one view per IP.

Hi,

In one of our report we face this issue, like it is displaying the "Â" before £, Trademark and Registered symbols.

I tried setting the encoding as "UTF-8" using <cfprocessingdirective> , <cfcontent> and SetEncoding() functions.. But none of them were worked.

Can any one shed some light here?

I know that through Dreamweaver we can format our code (using the "Apply Source formatting"). But what if I need to get a format like this,

ListLen of ValueList doesnt consider "NULL" values

In our application, We are allowing peoples to get affiliated with us... So while coding on this, We use to extract the Affiliate name from the URL,

For Eg,

http://www.xyz.com/affiliate_name

We use to extract "affiliate_name" from the above URL provided. and then We are determining the links to which he is allowed to have access, (Also our application is built on Fusebox Framwork)

Our Problem is after extracing the Affiliate name and getting his navigation links We cant able to show that @ the First request, I mean we need to refresh the screen one more time to get the changes... I dont know what I am doing wrong with this...

Any Help regarding this is greatly appreciable....
