Recently upgraded to LR4 and CS6. Using W7 on new system 16 gig ram and i7 chipset on ASUS board. Imported Nikon D600 raw files to new folder with LR4. Later navagated to folder containing the raw files with Bridge. When selecting a raw file with Bridge to open in camera raw message apears that file is not supported. Prior to importing with LR4 problem didnot exist. Help!

16 Bit in CS6

It seems that in previous versions of (CS) I could set the bit preference for startup script. I recently upgraded to CS6 and now must set the bit depth each time I open an image. This is an easy work-around yet I would prefer to work on images in 16 bit mode automatically on opening and down size as needed. What am I missing? Quad core W7 system running 4G memory. Your comments appreciated - Ed
