Delete folders

I have both PSE 11 and PSE 13 installed on my IMAC. I have all my folders on each program. If I delete a folder from PSE 11 will it also delete it from PSE 13 or vice versa. I should have told the program not to transfer everything when I installed the upgrade but did not.

I am new to LR5. I have been doing some of my exposure editing using the radial filter but am wanting to do more and cannot find the basic panel. I have tried some of the suggestions but still cannot bring the basic panel up.

I have upgraded from PSE 11 to PSE13. On PSE 11 I liked using the filter menu under render and able to choose lighting effects. I can't find this menu on PSE 13. Is it under something else or has it been discontinued for PSE 13?? I asked this question yesterday and it was not answered. Help!!

Recover from trash and filter menu

How do I recover a photo from trash that I accidentally deleted in PSE 13. Also from a previous question 8 hrs ago that has not yet been answered is there a filter menu that includes render and lighting effects that allows me to create drama with a soft spotlight as there is in PSE 11. I cannot find it in 13.

I have also been using the lighting effects filter in PSE 11. In 11 you go under the filter menu, under render, and choose Lighting Effects. I can't find this in PSE 13. Is it in another place and is it still available as it produces a nice effect.

I have recently upgraded from PSE 11 to PSE 13. I have noticed that there is no information panel in PSE 13 which in past editions allowed me to bring up history, general information and metadata. Can you still access this information in PSE 13 Organizer and if so how.

I am in the process of purchasing a DVD/CD ROM from Amazon for PSE 13. I have a Mac and am currently using PSE 11. Once I get comfortable with PSE 13 how do I transfer my albums and folders from PSE 11 to PSE 13. I also have a laptop (Mac Book Pro) and am assuming that I can also load the new software to that.

Do you know when PSE 13 will be available in Canada as it was just released for the USA> Also if I buy PSE 13 and us it on a Mac OSX with 8GB and I have a Canon 60D and a Canon 70D will I still have to convert my RAW files to DNG before I can open them in elements. Also is it necessary to download Quicktime 7 for PSE 13 and is that a free download. Thanks for any help.

I am trying to use the select menu to put a shot of the moon in another photo. When I go in the select menu I want to modify etc bit everything is greyed out. What am I doing wrong and what do I have to do to use the different menus that I will need. I also want to paste but it is also greyed out. Help!

Latest version of camera raw for elements 11

When I click on about plug in--camera raw it says version 7.4.0.137. Is that the latest version for PSE 11. I have version 8.2 of the DNG loaded. I have a canon 60D and a 70D. Do I have to continue converting to DNG before I can open camera raw files? If Iupgraded to PSE12 would this solve the problem so I do not have to convert to dng before doing edits.

I have recently downloaded Lightroom 5 on my Mac. Prior to downloading LR5 I was very successfully creating Picabo photo books downloading photos from PSE 11 and then creating the photo book on Picabo. Will I be able to do the same thing using LR5?? I have previously asked this question but have not received an answer that makes any sense to me. Help!

I have recently installed Lightroom 5 on my computer. Is it possible to create photo books using criteria other than provided in Lightroom. I have previously created Picabo photo books downloading from my photos on Elements 11 organizer. Is it possible to continue with that method with Lightroom 5?

I use Elements 11. Is it possible to save a photo when you zoom to make it larger for example the head of a bird.

I use Elements 11. I want to know if for example I have a good picture of an eagle. If I zoom in on the head can I then save that portion as a permanent photo. When I try it always seems to go back to its original size which is not what I may want for a particular photo.

Importing and editing raw files using a Canon 70D

I have a new Canon 70D. If I upgrade to photoshop elements 12 will I be able to import raw files using this camera without using plug ins. It would not import raw files off a 70D in elements 11 but would for my older ?Canon 60D. Has this been corrected??

I have recently purchased a Canon 70D and am still having problems with downloading the plug-in that would allow me to import and edit RAW. Also when will Elements 12 be available and when it is will that mean the 70D will work for RAW without worrying about the plug in.
