CS6 File Info Pop-Up Blank/Freezes Program

It doesn't matter which program but in CS6 when I try to open file, file info, the pop-up is blank. The only way to continue using the program is to press esc. I've searched the web and several discussions and the problem isn't isolated to Windows or Mac, but apparently CS6.

I also have CS3 installed and the file info panel works fine.

Once run and extracted they created three folders on my desktop. All told they're nearly 16GB. The Suite is up, updated and running.

Is it safe to delete or make a master folder and move to an external drive?
