Bug: save not saving

Most of my sessions with Edge Code have ended with the app not saving changes to disk. The only way I've found to correct this is to quit (losing work unless I copy it out to another app) and relaunch. At first I was completely baffled as to how I could tell if it would behave this way but after a couple times I noticed that it starts not-saving when all indications of saved or changed states disappear from beside the file names. Then I know to stop working and do the relaunching thing.

Better would be if this didn't keep happening and I could just trust that the save function will do so.

slowdown over time?

Has anyone else experienced the application slowing down after long continuous sessions of use?

The first thing to slow for me is scrolling, then eventually even typing happens with a considerable delay. This has happened on Mac (mavericks) and Windows (8.1) with a handful of site files, especialy in longer css files, usually with the live preview on. Relaunching Edge Code will speed things up again. I haven't had time to do any causation tests.

I'm sure this is on the roadmap but a really good search and replace functionality would be appreciated. Currently I jump to TextWrangler if I'm on the Mac for this but the potential for a smarter multi-file search and replace seems like it could be effortless in Edge Code.

Drag and drop text is becoming more of a sorely missed feature as I use this app. I'll often switch to another editor just to do this.

request: edit history with diff

It would be really great if Edge Code had some built in edit history with diff feature. The overall capability in IntelliJ is what I have in mind, though I'd appreciate a different implementation and visual treatment.

request: split screen and/or multiple windows

Sometimes I'd like to view more than one section of a long file at the same time. Other times I'd like to view/write more than one file at the same time too. The implementation could be split screen or multiple windows. So far I've been using other text editors to accomplish this.

request: better quickedit of new complex styles

This request is kind of open-ended, since I don't have a good idea of what I'd like—but it would be great if there is some way that the process for creating cascading styles and style variations could be improved/automated.

When I'm creating more complex css, I find that I need to jump out of quick edit and stay in the css files and "work blind" for a while before returning. I'd really prefer to stay in quick edit unless I'm organizing the css (automatic css organizing options! there's another feature request).

An example: if I start making .class1 .class2 { blah:foo; } and both .class1 and .class2 already exist—it would be great to see those somewhere so I can tell what styles I want to write.

Another situation: I'm starting a new style and I'd like to know what is already being inherited by this object. Currently the only way to see that is to look in the web browser's inspect element—which breaks Live Preview.

Live preview: nice but not stable

Live preview with Chrome is a great feature but it doesn't seem terribly stable yet. Engaging it in the first place often takes more than one try and keeping it going takes some patience, especially if I'd like to use the same browser to browse the web. I suspect most of this trouble is because Chrome isn't set up for this but I just thought the Edge team should be aware of the shaky behavior I'm experiencing.

css code completion everywhere?

inside style="" attributes
inside things like background-image:
