InDesign CS6 linking a text generated TOC to anchors for Kindle export

Ok I have an .indd that I need to export to Kindle. Since this option is not available in CC 2014 I had to revert to CS6.

I go to the page I need to put a text anchor on , select the text and from the New Hyoerlink Destination drop down and hit OK

I get stuck on how to go back to the text generated TOC and create links to the text anchors.

Any help?

Why is Muse extending off my screen when even when maximized?

Muse dialog boxes are opening in a bizarre, enormous way. The first image shows the Site Properties box as it opens. I am able to grab the top grey bar and move it around, but not resize it. The second image shows my entire screen when the Page Properties box opens. A portion of the options are visible in the top left corner. I cannot move this box around, so I cannot access those options.

The problem is also present at the Plan mode screen. The Master-pages section that is usually at the bottom is seemingly hanging 'off-screen'. As I increase the size of the page icons, the tops of the Master pages come in view at the bottom of the screen.

The dialogue boxes open normally when I reduce my resolution to about 1280x1024. When I bring res up to normal 1920x1080, the problem reoccurs. One thought is that Muse may be operating as if I'm extending my screen to another monitor.

Things I have tried: restarting PC, re-installing Muse.

CC 2014 Version 8.1

Hey all, after the most recent update of PPCC I now have issues with my thumbnails for my sequences. Some show up, some don't.I have a yellow media pending. If I scroll over them, I get a preview. I also have had issues with the project loading and media pending in both source monitor and program monitor. Please tell me this is something that is being fixed. I am in the middle of a very important project and a deadline, working with a producer and this happens.

i'm making a website in Edge Animate for a class project and am trying to embed a youtube video within it.

here is my code:

I have taken an 8 shot Panorama from the same spot on 2 different occasions but the resulting images are totally different. Is there a way I can decide on which image I want to be at the start as I have tried loading them in a different order but to no avail - still comes out the same, Thanks

Burn DVD using Windows DVD Creator

I'm using Premiere Pro CC 2014 in a Windows 7 environment.

DVD authoring is very much an exception for me but I find I need to do so on a project I finished last night. The Help files are full of needing Encore (which is no longer developed) to handle this but, reading the instructions, it seems I'd have to install Pr CS6 to do this.

So...a few questions before I spend an hour (rubbish Aussie ADSL speeds) downloading something I may not need, is it possible to use Windows DVD Maker (or, at a pinch, DVDStyler) to handle this and, if so, what export settings do I need in AME?

FYI, I've tried using the MPEG-DVD preset with PCM Audio and I thought it had worked--but my 12 minute project stopped after just over 8 minutes and there was no audio. I also tried compressing the audio to MPEG in AME with similar results. DVDStyler seems to read the AME-generated .m2v file as wave so I've not even attempted a burn.

Another question: if I do have to go the CS6/Encore route, will my CC 2014 project file open there or do I have to do some kind of conversion?

Any advice on the best way to do this would be very much appreciated! I'm sure I'm missing something and this shouldn't be this difficult.

How can I get print dialog box to show accurately?

My print dialog box shows the image too large. If I go to print it prints correctly. I have tried updating drivers and reinstalling Illustrator. It has been happening since new update to CC.

If you click more info - takes you to an apple page and it times out.

Just got the Canon 7D Mark II today!!! So far I am very impressed with it but I shot everything in RAW. I guess will have to use the Canon software to convert the files. I don't like that software so I'm hoping that Adobe has an update soon!

White outline on outside of clipping pathed images brought into InDesign

Hi. I am on a PC using CS6.

I created some clipping paths in Photoshop on a bunch of images and most of them have a white outline (even in Overprint Preview) shown in InDesign.

I thought I was being careful not to be too close to the edge in order to not get that white outline. I created the paths using the pen tool and path palette.

Please take a look at the screen shots below and I was wondering if anyone has this problem or if there is something I am totally missing.

As you can see in this photo the white outlines are around part of the box and most of the separate pieces of chocolate. This is a screen shot from InDesign.

This same image is below shown in Photoshop with a black rectangle placed behind it and I do not see the white outline. The outline shows in the PDF too when exported so I don't know what to do and I worried it will print this way. Never had this problem before..

Incompatible display driver - premiere elements 12 & 13

I've been trying to get adobe premiere elements working on some Lenovo T520 laptops. These are an advanced model laptop so shouldn't have issues with display drivers. When attempting to run Adobe premier elements 12 or 13 I get the error message 'we have detected an incompatible display driver. To get a better and faster performance, please update your display driver'

I have read through every available forum and website to fix this and have done the following to no avail;

Upgraded Intel HD Grapics 3000 driver to latest version
Disabled second graphics card (NVIDIA NVS 4200M) in device manager
Changed BIOS settings to run graphics from onboard Intel HD graphics (this removed the NVIDIA graphics card from device manager
Installed latest version of Quicktime
Searched for badddrivers.txt file on C drive and specifically in c:\programdata\adobe\premiereelements
Removed the adobe user profile data folders

Can you advise if there is any other possible fix for this issue? I've run out of options and have spent way too much time on this.

Troubleshooting an HTML 5 buggy slide - project freezes

Hello All,

I've got a medium length project (45 slides) that runs into a show stopping bug - during a slide in the middle of the project it just stops. I've confirmed this with cpInfoCurrentFrame - it just stops running. There are no pauses / click boxes / anything obvious in the way. HTML5 tracker shows nothing. We are using a custom navigation bar and the 'next' buttons never get displayed.

I've tried a lot of things - remade the slide, remade the images, remade all advanced actions, changed the order of the slides, hide various slides, change publishing settings, force republish, changed branching, etc. Nothing seems to work. It plays fine as a .swf.

I have been able to get the project to freeze at different points - but that seems almost random. Most of the time it fails on slide 18, 27 seconds in. Around frame 9,500.

I've tested on different machines and different browsers (chrome and IE). I've also got the newest chrome fix installed.

Any ideas?

Just wondering if anyone has come across this issue when you use a shortcut number to progress a click box (click the box or press 1), and only the top row of numbers work but not the number pad - anyone have a work around/fix for this?

Note: I did find something on this but it was from three years ago (and not on the Adobe forums) so I'm 'hoping' there may be a fix now - http://captivateideas.ideascale.com/a/dtd/Text-entry-using-number-pad/112774-11786

i am trying to use the adobe draw, i saw in the tutouriol that after u draw u can save it as illustrator or photoshop format and automatically open the file in desktop..... but in my ipad installed the adobe draw, it dont have those transfer buttons, why?

I upgraded to yosemite, and now AE won't open.

Steps I've found on the forums that I've tried and haven't worked:

updating from the application manager:
there doesn't appear to be an update for AE listed in the updates, so that one's a bust.

fixing the permissions problem mentioned here:

the folder is already set to 'read & write' for my account, and for everyone.

Downloading and installing this update:
When I attempt to install it, Adobe Application Manager tells me this:

so I struck out there, as well.

Are there any other things I can try? or is the next step uninstall and reinstall?

I am following a tutorial about Line Art.

I have to achieve the highlighted (yellow) settings in this image from the tutorial.

I need to burn a video with a created menu to DVD using Adobe Premiere Elements 12. In the past, I have done this using Adobe Premiere Elements 10 multiple times. It appears that Adobe Premiere Elements 12 does not have a method to do so. If Adobe Premiere Elements 12 cannot burn a video with a created menu to DVD directly, this version is a huge step backward in capability.

Why is my tabbed panel defaulting to the third tab, instead of the first one, when my page loads?

I have a tabbed panel widget on the home page of our website and it is essential that the audience views the content on the first tab when the page loads.

Thereafter they can click on the other tabs to view content. I have tried using "Arrange" "Bring to Front" by clicking on the object in the layout and also physically dragging the elements in the layers panel [i.e. re-arranging the order of the layers], however the panel view just keeps reverting back to the third panel which is the first in my layers list. When I try to drag this down to the bottom of my layers for this composition the first panel moves physically in the layout to the third panel.

The idea is to have the one currently showing at the bottom, "Data Centre..", ALWAYS showing on the top and the one currently showing on the top, "Engineering &.." , ALWAYS showing on the bottom. As I said before, physically re-arranging the order of the layers is not working either.

301 Redirects

I know how to create 301 redirects for webpages inside the admin. However is there a way to create a 301 redirect for a page that does not exist? Example: I go to mysite.com/no-page - that page does not exist yet I want that page to redirect to mysite.com/page -

I could upload a page called "no-page" and change the redirect but if done very much this can cause a lot of unnecessary pages.

Photoshop Elements 13 Editor won't launch

I've downloaded Photoshop Elements 13, which I've purchased. After completely installing and signing in with my Adobe ID, I'm prompted to accept the EULA again. After clicking Accept, the application closes and doesn't open.

I've uninstalled, rebooted and re-installed the application on my Win 8.1 64-bit system. I had downloaded the PSE 12 trial, which i've uninstalled as well. I know that something was not uninstalled, because after the re-installation I don't see the original splash screen prompting me to choose between the Organizer and the Editor. When I selected the Organizer, it would open fine. I changed the preferences to open immediately in the Editor, hoping that it would launch if that were its only option. This didn't work either. I also tried Adobe online chat support and they advised that they had no online solution to my problem and to post a question in the forum. There is also no phone support option for PSE. What do I do now?

AE Crash trying to get the user 'language' registry key

This is a strange crash I get just opening all sorts of different AE projects.

<140735243008352> <ASL.ResourceUtils.GetLanguageIDFromRegistry> <0> Unable to obtain the User 'Language' registry key at: Software\Adobe\After Effects\10.5.1\ Defaulting to 'en_US'.

It happens on a wide variety of projects just on opening them. Almost all are 720p. but some have footage, others are just PSD or other image files (PNG, JPG). Many of them have trapcode particular 2.1/form 2, but some don't.

I have to find another project, open it, and then hope it doesn't cause a crash. If not, then I can go back and open the project that crashed upon opening and it works fine. It may open a few times without problems, and then upon opening it another time, it will crash with the same warning.

I have a MacPro 2.66 GHz quad-core with 16GB RAM running 10.7.1 with an ATI Radeon HD 4870 card with 512MB of memory.

Seems rather bizarre to crash on trying to get a language registry setting, so any ideas for correcting this would be most helpful. Thanks.

MacでCS4を使用していましたが、PC乗り換えの際に消えてしまいました。

Time capsuleで復元したところ、以下のメッセージが出て、強制終了してしまいます。

PC再起動しても変わりません。

対応方法をご教授ください。

ダウロートもしていないのにアップロードで支払とは?一種の詐欺販売では?

まずダウンロードしてからでしょう普通は。

どうすればダウンロード可能になりますか?

Again, I need to make a setting so that whenever I insert my flashcard

into my computer, I want my photos to automatically go to my Photo Downloader

(The vertical screen that shows all the photos on the inserted flashcard

Fluid grid layouts

Please add the option to create a fluid/liquid layout in Muse. Most people are looking for a responsive website nowadays, and Muse only allows you to create fixed layouts. Personally I don't feel this program is worth the investment since it not only limits you to creating fixed with layout's but, it also doesn't have a built in FTP client like Dreamweaver.

Flash player does not stay working

I installed flash player both on IE & SRWare Iron. It was working several years. Suddenly it stopped on both browsers. I re-installed on both, it works 1x then stops again. I uninstall it & start again. This goes on & on & on!!!!! I downloaded Google Chrome since Flash player is installed. It does work there but Google Chrome has lots of cookies immediately! I've checked plugins & it's not there. But when I check if it's installed it says yes but disabled. It is not on the plugin list!!!!! HHHHEEEELLLLLPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!

DVDファイル書き出しの件

３番目の質問になりますが、書き出しの件です。

実はこれが一番深刻なトラブルです。

Premiere ElementsでのDVD作成は数える程度しかありませんが、今まで何回かできていました。ただ、最近困ったことが発生しています。

DVDに焼く前にいったんフォルダにファイルとして書き出していますが、これが全くできないのです。

DVDへの書き出しを実行するとデータをコンバートして完了したというメッセージが表示されますが、結果はフォルダに保存されていないのです。
書き出しの際に指定したフォルダを探しても見当たらない。まるでPremiere Elementsに騙されているような気分になります。

なぜこのようなことが起こるのかさっぱり分かりません。書き出しのフォルダを変更してみても結果は同じです。

トラブルを解消するための試行錯誤の時間もないので、仕方がないので今は、他のＰＣに作業を移す準備をしています。

これに関連することですが、Premiere Elementsで書き出しを実行するタイミングとハードディスクにファイルが書き込まれるタイミングは同じでしょうか？
つまり、書き出しを実行すると即、HDDにフォルダが記録される（されていく）のでしょうか？それとも書き出しが終了した時点でしょうか？

なぜこのような質問をするのかと言いますと、即、フォルダが記録される仕様であれば、成功したのか失敗したのか、フォルダを注視していればその場で分かるからです。でなければ、結果がでるまで数時間えんえんと待たされなければなりません。

"Please close Safari first" when Safari IS closed

I am running Mac OS 10.7.5, Safari 6.0.2, and trying to install the latest version of Flash 11 (as of Feb 8.) Half-way through the installation I get the warning to "Please close Safari to continue." I close Safari, try installing again, and get the same message to close Safari before continuing...but Safari IS closed.

I even try restarting the computer and installing Flash immediately...without so much as touching Safari. The installer still asks me to close it first. I open up the Force Quit window and only "Install Adobe Flash Player" is open.

Please help!
