Report total time to LMS

I am working in Captivate 7 and publishing courses a s SCORM 1.2 and uploading to an LMS. For some of my courses a total time is reported and for others it is not. I don't see any difference in the way I have the courses set up. Is there a setting than manages this? Below are screen shots of the setting I have set up. They are identical on two different courses, one that is reporting it and one that is not.

Can you open multiple files using an advanced action?

I have either Captivate 5.5 or Captivate 7 to work with. Currently my project is in 5.5.

I have a button that I want to open three PDF files. I created an advanced action, selecting Open a new file/URL and selected the file name. Currently they are set to open in a new window.

When I test the button, only one file opens.

If I set one to open in a new window and another to open in the top window, I lose the course but get two to open.

Is there a way for me to open each of these files in a new window using the same button?

Using My Infosemantics InteractiveMaster with Captivate 7

I am using Captivate 7 and the latest version of the Inforsemantics InteractiveMaster

part of my quizzes are questions and part ore simulations. I have found that becuase there are multiple correct paths, instead of having correct choices add points to the score, I have to give my user the full amount of points and then deduct points for wrong choices.

I use the InteractiveMaster to deduct score for my quizzes. When a user follows the wrong path in my assessments. I have the slave set to be included in the quiz and to report but not to add to the total. Captivate defaults the value at 1.

When I was doing this in Captivate 5.5, this worked fine.

When I try this in Captivate 7, when I set my Quiz Preferences, I get an error message when I try to have my data report as points becuase it says, "SCORM 1.2 cannot report a total score of more than 100 as points. Please choose to report data as a percentage." Now it is true that my quiz objects total more than 100 because I have 100 points to make the 100 plus 1 point for each time I use the InteractiveMaster.

Any thoughts in why this is working differently in Captivate 7 or how I can make this scenario work successfully for me?

Fill-in-the-blank questions with drop-down

I am using Captivate 7 and wondering if there is anyway to change the size of the blank/drop down. After I have selected an answer, most of it is cut off. Is it possible to size the drop-down fill-in-the-blank box or have it display the entire selected answer?

How do I set the Launch window size (from launch from an LMS) in Captivate 5.5?

When my project launches from the LMS, the lauch window is smaller that the actual project size and requires the user to resize the window to see the whole project. My LMS administrator tells me that the launch window size is not controlled by the LMS so I am trying to figure out how I can set this to match the project dimensions.

Adding a Variable Value to the cpQuizInfoPointsScored Variable

I have a variable that I am using to track incorrect responses (clicking incorrect buttons while completing a process) and I want to add the value of the the variable to the value of cpQuizInfoScored. I can create an expression to add the two but I can't select cpQuizInfoePointsScored to receive the total.

Any help would be appreciated.

Audition Audio in Captivate

I am developing learning modules in Captivate and creating my audio in Audition. I am running into this strange phenomena where after created the audio and processing it to be fairly consistent, I bring it into Captivate and over time, the volume levels and audio qualities seem to modify so that the audio is no longer consistent.

Any ideas why this could be happening or what I should be doing to prevent it?

Published Aggregator File, Viewed Over Internet has Inexplicable Broken Link

I have published an aggregator file onto our internal server so that employees can access the training.

In the URL bar after our server name it reads: How_Do_I_Module/How_Do_I_Module.swf throughout all of the different projects in the aggregator file except for one of the files with a quiz, which looks for: How_Do_I_Module/Allocate a Double Booking Number.htm (side note, my file name does not actually have spaces but uses underscores, so I am very confused where this is coming from)

Of course this file is not there because the aggregator packages it as a swf file. Now I can put my original htm file for that piece in the folder but it does not show up with the same sizing and at the end, it looks for the htm file for the next piece.

I have checked my publish settings and see nothing different between that piece and any others. It is also not the only file with a quiz, and the others work fine.

Does anyone know how to resolve this or run into this before?

Button Shortcut Keys in Captivate 5.5

I am creating a simulation assessment of our companies software. In the actual software, when a user finishes typing in a response or if their is a highlited button response, they can press either ENTER, TAB, or F11. To make the simulation as real as possible, I want my button shortcuts to match. Is there anyway to have multiple keys act as a shortcut for buttons and text entry buttons?

Also, when the user uses the shortcut instead of the submit button on text entry fields, a highlight of the button outline appears. Is there a way to not have it appear? I have the button as transparent with 0% alpha fill and no border.
