How to create Streaming Stars?

Been to the market lately?

Both had strong market share identities, bold graphics and strong typography. Does anyone know the thinking behind these? I mean, the text is weak and the color is muted in both cases. And that Pepsi icon! What the bleep?

A way to get smooth GIF?

<!-- [DocumentBodyStart:dbee1ef3-559d-43e8-bcb7-ba7df73996d4] --><div class="jive-rendered-content">I've got a customer's logo that consists of 4 colors: Black, Purple, Lt. Yellow, and White ( text ). I "Saved for Web" using 16 colors with dither turned ON. The logo looks fine on my studio monitors using 1600x1200 resolution, but the customer is viewing at around 800x600 and says it looks choppy. I checked it and he's right. The White text is blurred on some of the round edges and the Black rule around the oval logo has some major stair-stepping. The original vector art was saved with anti-aliasing ON. Is there a way I can give this a smoother look? Will PNG format help? The logo itself is around 300x500px. The customer's existing logo has been sized down approximately ( from 1200x2000px ) 25% on his web page and the White text appears smoother than my 100% sized logo.

How do I upgrade from Design Collection?

<!-- [DocumentBodyStart:53a7ed85-c234-4540-b2ae-5a64f1b80ac0] --><div class="jive-rendered-content">I've been using Mac OSX10.3.9 via Quicksilver 1.4 PowerPC with 2g's RAM/120g HD. My system ( knock on wood ) is running well with Font Agent Pro 3.x and an HP Designjet 10ps. This setup is a good three years old. No problems proofing, web authoring, page layouts, blah, blah, blah. I've been hesitant in upgrading to CS apps and ignored CS1, CS2, CS3. But, because I am a design studio, I receive CS3 files. I'd like to keep the operating system ( because of its ability to access OS9 apps ) for as long as I can. I'm on a very limited budget and have an existing Educator version of the Design Collection ( Illus. 10, PS7, ID2 ). Question: where can I buy an unopened box of the CS2 Design Premium? I'm not ready for CS3, I'm going to wait until I get new Apple hardware for that transition. Thanks for your help.
