Adobe Application Manager says Acrobat is full intstalled and up-to-date when it has been removed

Due to crashing problems when working on PDFs with comments I decided to de-install and them re-install again. BUT since removeing it Adobe Application Manager is still showing it as fully instaled and up-to-date. How do I sort this out?
