Videos will not play on some sites

Videos will not play on sites such as History. com, Scify. Com, Fox, NBC and USA to mention a few. All I get is a black box where the video is supposed to be. They play fine on You tube, AMC.com, ABC and TNT and numerous other sites. I have tried numerous fixes I have researched on the internet. None work. All the above mentioned sites I had no problems with in the recent past. Noticed the issue a couple of weeks ago. Also found this is not just me having this issue. Its very common and has been out there for a long while. All the sites I have issues with are all major network sites. I have the latest version of flash player 14 installed on my system. Windows 7, browser IE11. The strange thing is if I do a restart on the computer and go to the sites the videos play. Exit the site and return to it they will not. I have run malware and virus scans all come back clean. I have no other issues on the computer. What is the solution to this problem? Is it Flash player, IE 11 or the sites or all combined? If there is a solution to this issue please let me know. Thanks

After I installed version 11.4 I have IE not responding box pop up on my desk top every time I exit IE9. Removed 11.4 and replaced with previous version of 11.3 no prblems. Why is this?
