Hi All

I have a simple App that connects to a CF server and works fine on both mobile and desktop im now trying to implement syncmanager but haveing no end of trouble i have a couple of questions and hope someone here can guid me in the right direction.

does the syncmanger only work with orm or can you use a normal CFC?
all online trutorals date back to 2009 has anything changed since then?
Will it work on mobile air?

Just simple yes or no answers is fine but any simple tips would me most appreciated

Flex4, Zend and mamp question/problem

Hi Everyone

I have a question about using zend with multiple sites on you local machine at the moment i have the following set up

Htdocs -

Site 1

Site 2

Site 3

As you can see there are 3 sites whithin the server htdocs all works well with my work flow and i have had no trouble before

how ever i've downlloaded Flash Builder (gumbo) and have tried to set up a php service zend installs ok but i cant get any further i get error about the gatway.

But when i do the same but use HTDOCS(no subfolders) as my folder all works fine any ideas how i can get around this?

I hope this makes sense and someone can help

Flash Builder auto generated services problems

Hi All

I'm learning Flash builder 4 from a design background but i've come a cross a stumbling block i followed the online tutorial on how to populte a datagrid using the code generated by the ide and that went like a treat.

How how do i use the other methods in the class i created i've tried using the update item and createitem methods but cant get them to work can anyone point me in the right direction on how to use them?

Or are they disabled in Flash builder?

My thinking on the createItem is

create form
drag the method on the form
fill out relevant details on the popup
run

however when i do this nothing happens?

please help

Text not displaying in data grid

Hi All
I have crated a little test app which creates a local db and will be used to save data to this seems to work fine but there is a problem with the datagrid because when i enter the data it goes it's there in the datagrid ie the line highlights but you can actually see the text i'll attach the code to sww if anyone can shed alight on it.

XML displaying

Hello everyone

i've got a problem displaying xml in a list i know the data comes through because i can highlite the lines but. I get no text at all but just three blank spaces that i can highlite but with no data in them.

Any ideas what i'm doing wrong?
