"Failed to generate eBook (eBook). See compilation message for more details."

Hi!

I'm trying to output my Help system into an eBook format using RH v10, but I keep getting the error message, "Failed to generate eBook (eBook). See compilation message for more details."

I check the Output View, and all that is listed is:

"Generating EPUB 3 output...

EPUB 3 output generation failed.

Internal error encountered, Failed to generate eBook."

This message tells me nothing. So what gives? Do I have too many topics? Too many conditional tags? Not enough rain in the area? Too much pressure on the keyboard keys?

Help, please?

RoboHelp 10: Where did my images and styles go?

I recently upgraded from RoboHelp HTML 7 to RoboHelp 10. I converted my .xpj project without any problem, and was able to generate my WebHelp files seamlessly....almost!

When I viewed the generated files, I noticed 3 outstanding issues:

1. The images in the topics do not appear in the generated files (although they appear on the RoboHelp Designer page.)

2. The bulleted items are now square, instead of round. (Again, they appear correctly on the RoboHelp Designer page.)

3. The paragraphs that are supposed to be in colored boxes (notes, tips, examples, etc.) no longer show any color, although the note icon assigned to these styles appear. (Here too, the colored boxes appear correctly on the RoboHelp Designer page.)

How do I get these items back?

Can't view conditional text on RH Design page

I just upgraded to RH10 from RH7 and converted my (very large) project. I have several conditional build tags set due to the multiple versions of Online Help I have to produce. In RH7, I was able to view all the conditional text on the Design page, each color-coded as specified. (Some tags were assigned the same color.)

In RH10, however, some of my conditional text that I imported from RH7 do not appear on the Design page, nor does any new conditional text I add. On the HTML tab, the tags appear as "<?rh-cbt_start condition="v26_00" ?>my text<?rh-cbt_end ?>" which I think are different than what was in RH7. What's weird is that SOME of my conditional text appears, but not all.

Any idea how to fix this? I think it has something to do with the fact that I excluded the "missing" conditional text from the last generated output, but even after removing all exclusions and regenerating the output, the text still does not appear on the Design page.
