What is good ecommerce solution for MUSE

I have a client that I built a website for a year or so ago and he sells stuff through it (about 15-20 items). For payment I just used his existing paypal merchant account and had to customize everything myself. Since then his business is booming and he wants to make a more traditional store with more features, things like coupons and the ability for customers to sign up and track his orders.

I have been messing with ecwid.com and wazala but was wondering if any of you know of other options for creating a store in MUSE with the same level of simplicity and that can be easilty imported into muse. Thanks.

Certain Pages Aligning to Left on Mobile Devices

I have a Muse site that I am almost finsihed with and there is a weird problem that I cannot for the life of me figure out.

All of my pages look perfectly fine in regular browsers, the page content is all centered and looks fine, but when I look at certain pages (not all of them) on my iphone the entire page gets shifted to the left and does not fill up the screen like all the other pages. Everything is still centered but smaller and pushed to the left. I have tried a lot of fixes but nothing works so I need a fresh set of eyes to help me figure out this issue.

Make the height of a tabbed panel content container adjust to the individual tab's content.

I am designing a site and on one page I am using two tabs to seperate two different kinds of content. One tab has more content and as such is longer on the page. But I noticed that MUSE uses which ever tab is the longest as the basis for how long the page is. This is fine while on that tab, but on the other tab it makes the page much longer (bunch of dead space) then it needs to be. Is there a way of getting around this or is this a limitation of muse?

Alignment inside box bug.

I am not sure if this is a bug or by design, but I made a text box with a background layer that strecthes across the page. The text aligns in the middle ok, but it appears to be up to high in the box itself (not centered). I messed forever with this trying to make it look right, but then realizes that when you look at it in a browser it is aligned perfectly. So basicaly this is not showing up properly aligned in MUSE, but works fine in the browser. This is not a huge deal, but considering MUSE is a WYSIWYG editor I would love to see this fixed in some way.

Here is a picture of what I am talking about Where it says OWB Holsters you can see that the text is not aligned in the center vertically. It looks fine though if you look at it here.

Can't Upload a site anymore

I have a site that I made nearly a year ago and all of a sudden when I hit publish (to adobe BC) the site does not register like it normally does and all I get is a dialog box to setup a temporary site, like I have never uploaded it BS before.

I have an update that I have to get up for someone and they want it done now, but you cant reach any adobe people to get help on the weekend. Does anyone know what is wrong and how I might be able to fix this issue?

Bring in Guides Like Photoshop

I like the way guides work in photoshop (where I can drag as many as I want from the side ruler. I know I can create them in MUSE, but they can't move since they are fixed to columns and I understand that. But I would like to be able to bring out a free floating guide I can postion anywhere. I came across the need for this because sometimes when a page has a lot of stuff I want to get aligned right the snap guides don't always seem to work very well. Being able to bring out a quick guide to align something would be awesome.

I have a client that I built a site for and he needs a way to let clients know the status of their orders. He is making things by hand and the process for each item takes weeks. He would like to be able to have a system setup where a client can sign in and look up their order and see in what stage its in and get an approximation of time left till completion. He uses a paypal store to take the orders. I was wondering if anyone had a suggestion on how to do this fairly cheaply and without code.

Drop Down Menu hiding behing objects, please help.

I am making a site and the navigation is broken up on two sides of a logo. Since it was this way I could not use a widget, becasue I can not break the buttons apart to place them where I need. So I just used plain text for the buttons and then used the tooltips widget to create a dropdown menu over that text. If you go to the page below and hit the button on top that says Our Products you can see the issues that I am having the dropdown that appears is hiding behind my frontpage cotent. I have tried selecting the widget on my master page and hitting arrange - bring forward, and also I sent the object its behind backwards (on homepage), but it still does not want to work. Any suggestions on what I can do. Also is there and easier way to create a dropdown like this given the layout of this page?

Page Content appearing too far down.

I finally got a problem solved that allowed me to upload a site but now all my page content is appearing to far down on the page. I have the header area and the content underneath on each page is now about1/2 inch farther down then should be. It looks fine in Muse, but shows up messed up in any browser. I tried resetting some stuff but nothing works, can anyone help.

Ok I am asking for help with this again because no one seems to want to help that works at Adobe. Every time I try and publish a particular site I get the error attached below. It also happens if I hit preview on the homepage. Does anyone have any idea how I can get this fixed. I have a bunch of changes I need to make for a client and time is a factor. Can someone please help?

I can't upload anything on my site, muse just crashes now.

Everytime that I either try and save one of my sites or publish them I get a error and then Muse crashes. I have attached an image of what it does. I need help with this now, I have to get stuff up today!

Ok I am gonna try and make this simple. I have a website I have been working on and the person I am doing it for was very specific about the design. I wanted to use a menu widget because he wanted a drop down box showing different options/pages when they click on products. I could not achieve this easily with a widget becasue you cannot break the menu widget apart. All the buttons have to stay side by side. So in order to help my client out I used a tooltip widget to create the dropdown menu. Please check it out here to see how I did it. Click on products and you can see what i made using the tooltip widget. The main problem now is that once someone clicks on it the tooltip stays and wont go away even once moving away from it. I set it to "on rollover", but that does not allow you to select a page from the dropdown so I cant use that option.

What I want to know is how can I possibly build a dropdown menu system that functions properly and use the design that I am currently using. Is it even possible?

I do hope someone replies. Ever since adobe moved the forums here responses seem to take forever.

As of today a website that I am doing in muse has a report abuse button at the bottom left of each page. Why is this showing up?

I have the cloud subscription and I tried downloading PS, it said it could not so so because i had the beta installed. So I got rid of the beta and tried again....still said no. So I emptied my trash and restarted, and it still will not download PS. I got all my other software ok, but cant get PS for some reason. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Ability to follow hyperlinks that open pages.

I have noticed that I often need to get from one page to another on my site, and that page is usually not open. So i have to go back to the organizational view to find it and open it. I would like the ability to click on any link on my site and open that coresponding page to edit it. Just right click on "about us" etc etc and have that page come right up. Would save time, especially when you have a large site.

Getting this error each time I publish.

I am creating pages that have multiple pictures of each product. I am using a thumbnail slideshow widget to make a large thubnail as the main picture of the product that can be clicked on and blown up in a lightbox. That part works fine, but I also have another thumbnail lightbox right below it where people can view 4-5 more photos of the same product. What i want to do is merge these into one slideshow. I thought unchecking "edit together" in the widget settings would allow me to split up the thumbnails and make one large as the product shot and then place the others (much smaller) below as secondary pictures, thus creating one slideshow. So if someone clicks the main product picture they could then just hit next from there to see the rest.

Is this possible to do or not?

Please take a look at the site as it stands (WIP) and see how its setup now. I need the page to look exactly the same, but have the main pic for each product start the entire slideshow.

Ability to break apart menu widget.

I like the menu widget, but have yet to be able to use it because of how limited it is. I have a site where the menu items needed to be broken apart on two sides of the site, with a logo between them. Its not a big deal becasue I can just make the link and place them, but when my client requested a dropdown box to appear below one link I can't do it because I could not use the widget since the buttons have to stay together and cant be broken apart. I would love to create the buttons and then be able to move them around anywhere on my master page.

Dealing with slideshows and lightboxes

I have a site I am working on and I am using a lot of slideshows and lightboxes. The problem I am having is that the widgets are a knightmare to setup and deal with. I guess this is not a bug, but it just feels overly complicated to use at times because of the options and how easy it is to screw something up on them. The lighbox one seems to be the worst offender. Placing the next and previous buttons can be a knightmare becasue I have to align them to not overlap a certain photo, but when I click to move it the widget kicks in and moves to the next photo. I just wish the widgets were a bit easier to use right out of the gate. I am getting good at using them, I just think they could be better laid out for ease of use.

All that said I love this program and plan to buy, and thanks for listening to my rant.

Getting A Hyperlink to work properly.

I have a navigation element that is made up of two lines of text, in the same text box. I applied hyperlink styles to it, but the function independantly of each other in terms of lighting up when in mouseover state. Is there a way to link them together so that when my mouse is over the top or bottom line of text the other one lights up as well?

If you are confused by what i mean please take a look at the site and mouseover the button on top that says "Instructional Videos" I know I can just make a photoshop button, but would rather have it work without adding more graphics.

I am working on a site for a client and it works fine in Chrome and Safari, but in Firefox the bottom does not scale across like it should but it does in the other browsers.

Please take a look in Firefox (look in Chrome first to see what it should look like) and let me know if there is any way to fix this issues I am having.

Embedded Code from Paypal formatting poorly.

I am working on a clients website and they want to continue using the Paypal system that generates the embed code for the Buy Now button. Its not just a button, there are a few options people have to select before they buy. The problem is that importing the embed code into Muse makes it look bad. Everything gets scrunched together. I can change the text color and all that, but I need it to look a lot better. Is there a way to fix this? I just would like to create some space between the options so that they are not so close together. I tried adding line break code in the HTML but none of that seems to work. Any Suggestions?

Freezing Going from Preview to Timeline

I am editing together a video that involves a bunch of narration files alongside HD animations (720p) and when I select either the timeline or the preview window to cut clips before taking to the timeline I get about 4 seconds of freezing before I can work again. It does not always do this so It really frustrating. I have no programs running besides premiere yet it does this. Anyone have this happen and know how to solve?

PP Hangs When Moving Between Timelines

I posted this question earlier so here is some more info so hopefully someone can tell me what is going wrong.

I am working on a project that is going to be on youtube in HD. I have several AE animations that are rendered as .mov (Apple Pro ResHQ). I have about 30 -40 pieces of narration in .wav format (done in soundbooth). The problem is that when I move from the main sequence timeline to the preview timeline, when I want to cut a piece of audio and insert it, the system hangs for about 4 seconds and then I can continue. I have noticed that it only stalls if I touch the timeline scrubber. i can insert the audio into the timeline, and even move it around, but once I grab the scrubber the thing locks for a few seconds, then if I go up and grab the scrubber on the preview window it does the same thing. The project settings are HDV at 24fps.

This does not happen when I am working on an SD project at all, and my Mac is plenty powerful enough to edit this.

I am migrating from a PC to a new Mac Pro and I transferred an old Premiere project. All the movie files were AVI. When I open the project on the Mac it tells me that its codec is missing. Can someone point me to the right codec and where I can get it. Along with how to install. Or is there a way to batch process all these videos to work ok.

Also I need to know what is the best video conversion software that can convert AVCHD to MOV?

Putting Video to Preview Monitor HELP!

I have a question about viewing video on a TV in real time. Our old video rig had a canopus internal video card that allowed me to plug in a regular tv to see the output of what I am making.

This time around I have a beefed up Dell that has dual Nvidia cards (only using one of the cards though). My question is whether or not there is a way with my current rig to output the video (from Premiere) in Real Time to view on a monitor? I liked being able to see things on a monitor and would like to be able to do that again.

Help Trouble with RAW

I see some issues have popped up with raw, but I am having an issue that I cant find a solution. I do a lot of HDR photos and my CF reader crapped out so I had to plug in my D300 to get the pics, which I have done before without any issues, and the thumnails show up genericly with a lock icon on them. I can still see all my other raw shots inside of bridge, but not any new ones. The old ones I can see also will not import now. I have installed the new 5.1 ACR. I am using CS3. Does anyone know what I can do?

I just bought a D90 and I cannot load the RAW images from it at all. I know that the camera is new and that it must not be supported yet, but is there anyway to get these images to show up in PS. I have tried converting to DNG but that does not work...any Ideas, and does anyone know when they will support the D90.
