Cannot back up - get message "Organizer has stopped working". Can someone PLEASE help me?

I cannot back up-get message that "Organizer has stopped working". Is there anyone to help me????

How do I tag people in a photo that are not asked "who's this"? If the person is not looking directly at the camera or, if they are too close to the camera, the software di=oesn't ask "who's this" but I still want that photo identified with that person. How to do?

Importing photos in folders

How do I import 3500 photos in 12 folders to stay in their 12 folders when imported so I don't have to do that work all over again? I am not familiar with PSE at all so haven't imported my photos (with thumb drive) not knowing what will happen when I do!
