blurry images in chrome

I've set simple animation where image changes size from small to large.

Image is clipped in a div.

Image looks VERY blurry and pixelated in chrome (IE and Firefox are OK).

Why is this happening?

After opening pdf in photoshop CS6 (win 7 64 bit) there are thin (1 px) horizontal and vertical lines.

Pdf was created by distiler from PostScript from InDesign (InDesign -> PostScript -> Distiller -> pdf).

Same pdf rasterized in photoshop CS4 does not produce this lines.

Is this a bug?

When I'm placing image I can set alpha channel.

How can I set this alpha channel with script after image is placed??

I try:

myImageRef.imageIOPreferences.alphaChannelName="something"

but this not work...

I would like to replace texture on rendering with use of UVW channel encoded as RGB.

Is this possible in photoshop?

Is there any way to change page displayed in selected frames and retain layer visibility settings.

For instance:

I have selected 3 frames. All of them contains first page of some pdf . But each of them show another layer.

I would like to change displayed page to 2 and retain layers settings for all frames.

Any help?

There is no option to set placed swf background to be transparent in exported interactive pdf.

Such option would be great thing....

Is there any way to make background of placed swf transparent in interactive pdf?

I know tak I can make background transparent in Acrobat after exporting but I have many placed swf.

Maybe some Java Scripoting in Acrobat? Every sugestion is valuable for me...

By the way - why Adobe could not put a small switch in Media Panel: "transparent background"?

Lack of such small feature is big pain in the a..

primary text flow in master based on another master

I have 2 master pages: master A and master B. Master B is based on master A (master A is applied to master B).

There is primary text flow on both master pages.

When I RE-apply master A to master B primary text flow on master B is gone.

And all text frames on document pages which master B is applied to are no longer marked as primary text flow.

Is this normal?

CS6 radial gradient behaviour

I have rectangle filled with radial gradient.

When I reduce width to half - gradient is distorted.

When height is reduced to half - gradient is cropped.

What's going on? How can I change dimensions of the object without distorting radial gradient????

I try different scaling settings: "Apply to content" / "Adjust scaling percentage"

Steps to reproduce problem:

1. Open file

2. Update Table of Contents

3. Save and close file.

File is not readable.

Could anyone check this file? Maybe there is something wrong with my comp or something?

All TLFTextFields in exported fla have anti-alis set to "Use device fonts". This leads to improper kernig when text is displayed in published swf.

I can change anti-alias setting to "Readability" and after embedding fonts everything is OK.

But I have multipage document and many text frames. Is there another way to set antialias to "Readability"? Setting this option for every textfield one by one is time consuming...

I tried set this option with ActionScript but Flash converts unnamed TLFTextFields to TCMText. And I cant set anti-alias format for TCMText...

How to disable Text Container Manager

"TCM text for static TLF Flash Pro

CS5.5 uses the Text Container Manager to handle TLF text that is not intended to

change at runtime. The TCM avoids the need to include the full TLF ActionScript library in the published SWF file,

significantly reducing file size."

How can I turn this off? I need TLFTextField in my swf.

I know that I can assign name to TLFTextField to prevent flash from converting it to TCMText but I have many of them exported from InDesign to fla.

Is there any way to turning off TCM globally??

ID CS4 ink aliasing not working

Ink aliasing settings are ignored during exporting BOOK to pdf (entire book or selected document/s).

Why?

Pdf exported from InDesign after opening document (File -> Export) is OK.
