Adobe Connect prevents external users from connecting via Edge Server

Errors thrown in the logs:

Bad network data; terminating connection : bad chunk version 24 on input stream 07726718

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

When running 11.4 beta in Internet Explorer 9 "Users and Groups" is not loaded thus not visible in Adobe Connect Pro 8.2.

It works with Firefox and Chrome.

Reuse captions

Any way to reuse captions like in a Library format?
Now we have all the captions on stock in a redundant slide and copy and paste from that, but it would be nice with an editable and formatable library for reusing standard captions over several projects.

Internet connection fails

Any specific ports needed to be open or what other resolution do you suggest?

The internet links in the white area of the splashscreen all work!

Buttons in MovieClip

I want to load a navigation bar from a movieclip into my main swf and then control this navigation bar.

This code works when the navbar is created directly in the main swf:
slide0_btn.onRelease = function() {
loadMovie("head_slide0.swf", slide_mc);
};

But what would the code look like to instead call the slide0_btn while residing inside the loaded movieclip "head_slide0.swf"?

HTML text not foramtting correctly

With the code below I can create a Text Field and show a plain HTML-text.. Nothing advanced inside.
My problem is that the size of the text is very small and Flash doesn't respond to changes I make in the HTML-page.
Can anyone guide me to a better solution than the one below?

Drag and drop issue

A drag&drop works fine inside it's own swf.
Now I need to load that drag&drop swf into my main swf.
Everything seems to work fine except for the correct answer? I'm puzzled.

Please advice!

Captivate trial expires too soon

My Captivate trial version expired after 1 day ;-)

I expect it is because I had a pre-release version installed under the beta-program.

Anyone knows how to get around this issue?

I pre-ordered my upgrade a month ago - but haven't received any info - so I need this trial badly.

Input Text

I want to have the cursor actively blinking in a focused Input Text field.
I declare some variables in frame 1 and flash stops for an Input Text interaction in frame 2.

How can I focus the cursor in the Input Text field?

I've tried setFocus(my_text) and Selection.setFocus(my_text) to no avail.

Prevent the Enter key from proceeding in movie

I've mad a small algebra exercise with 5 Input Text fields. I've set up them up in 5 individual frames and my 5 wrong feedbacks in 5 seperate frames and my 5 correct feedbacks in 5 different key frames.
Every call is to labelled frames.
This works fine in the best of all Worlds where the user is doing as expected/wanted.

But if the student just hits the Enter key flash provides to the next frame and screw up the code.
How can I prevent this?
