Multiple bins simultaneously

When using prelude I often redistribute all clips in different bins according to their content. In order to do that it would be nice to have both the thumbnail view and the bins open simultaneously in order to drag and drop to different bin windows, a bit like moving files on different folders.

I wonder if there's a way to do this, I end up using list view to be able to watch all bins simultaneously.

Maybe there's a better workflow, I accept tips.

split toning and clarity effect in Speedgrade

Hi everybody!

First of all, sorry for this newbie question but I used to achieve these effects in AE, but I thought it could be more suitable to achieve them with Speedgrade.

I'm looking for a way to do some split toning and clarity effects like the ones achieved by the modifiers in Lightroom, but is Speedgrade.

Any help will be appreciated.

I configured some custom tags with the QWERTY letters but they're not working.

Does this happen to any of you? Am I missing something?

Hi all!

First of all, I'm new with Muse and I'm loving it.

I'm prototyping a mobile app and I need to make some customized switches. Buttons that toggle on/off when you press them.

I have two images for the button states but I was wondering how can I achieve this with Muse.

Adobe invites the best designers from a city for a creative event. Then they unveil a theme at the beginning of the jam.

Grouped by teams, designers have a few hours to create a visual artwork using the Adobe Creative Cloud.

This tuesday will be the Milan edition of the Adobe Creative Jams and we are between those ten teams!

Audio reconnect on project migration

Hi all, how are you?

Good I hope.

I migrated a premiere project from a backup to my main hard drive and everything reconnected well except from some strange files that I suspect are the audio peaks or previews.

Well the problem is that now lots of audio clips (including the audio of some videos) are not playing at all.

Both audio and video files are ok, but the problem is in Premiere. What can I do? Is there a way to reset the audio previews or the peak files or something like that?

Speedgrade's grading all wrong.

I've been reading the other threads about speedgrade and it looks like a recurring problem but this is somehow different.

I've been grading a long sequence from Premiere, using Speedgrade.

But when I get back to Premiere the grading looks completely different from the Speedgrade view.

To make it more clear:

This is my image as it looks in Speedgrade

This is my grading

And this is how the image looks on Premiere.

What is going on? Is it a Premiere problem or a Speedgrade problem?

Is there a way to use Photoshop's field blur, iris blur or tilt shift blur straight on AE?

I want to use photoshop's selective blur effects on several footage. I know I might import the footage on Photoshop and just apply the effect on the video sequence, but this workflow is rather incomfortable for a whole bunch of clips.

Is there a way to use either those filters or reproduce their behavior straight on AE?

How to migrate project from backup computer to main computer?

Hi, I was working on an extensive prelude project insterting comments, subclips and rough cuts.

I had to leave so I made an exact copy of my mts footage (with same path and folder structure) into another drive to continue working on my backup computer.

I then came back and tried to migrate the prelude project made on my backup computer to my main computer to start editing, but when I did the project had problems to open (it stucks).

I'm thinking it might have to do with the folder structure and metadata of mts files.

I was wondering which metadata files do I need to update from the backup drive into the main drive in order to make the project work.

MTS files folder structure rebuild

Hi, I accidentally uploaded just the .mts files from a batch and I was wondering if there's a way to rebuild the metadata structure with any software, to be able to apply metadata to them.

If not, which is the most similar codec (size-quality wise, without losing quality nor making the files much bigger) to transcode this media that would allow me to inject metadata directly?

Speedgrade, sequences and framerates

Hi! I have a project in 1080i and 25 fps on Premiere CC.

I click on Send to Speedgrade, but when I get there the project is 50 fps. Ergo I have twice the frames.

Is this normal to happen? How can I keep the original framerate on Speedgrade?

I have a flash animation, just shapes and tweening. I was wondering if there's a way to convert it to After Effects but keeping it editable (i.e. getting AE shapes and keyframes).

Hi all, I'm working in a sort of template for a series of mograph videos. Some sort of motion typography work.

The animation is always the same but the only thing that changes is the length of the video (for legibility purposes).

I was wondering if I can control the in and out points of a layer with the keyframes from another layer.

Lets say Layer's A keyframe from slider 1 position in time is the out point (plus/minus an offset would be also great) of layer B.

I've been playing with expressions on a regular basis but I don't really know where and how to write an expression like that or if it's possible.

Is there a way to make 2.5 fog in AE?

I know that using 3d fog I can get the z-depth info from a sequence and add some fog.

But what if I want to put fog on my AE 2.5 scene instead? I'd like to control the level of (color) on a comp based on distance from the camera.

Is there a way to do this? Am I missing something?

Shortcut to cycle thru views? Ways to control viewports better

Hi all, this is my first question.

I'm using the four view layout and I'm using a rather complex cloud of layers that I need to reposition in 3d space.

I'd like to control their position like in 3d software packages: I have a selected object, and then I switch views to control the vertical, left-right, forward-backwards axis.

But when I try to do this each time that I switch views the objects get deselected, and that's a drag for productivity.

Is there a shortcut or a key+click combination to cycle/switch between the top/left/front views?
