Rotating Display object around center point

I have spent several hours trying to get a display object to
rotate about it's center with little success. No matter what I try
it ends up rotating around some point out side of the object and
with each rotation it translates a few pixels. The most basic
version of my code is below. Any insights to what I'm doing wrong
would be much appreciated.

Multilingual Database Design

I'm designing a database for a multilingual project and I see
a couple different ways of approaching the problem.

1. I can have different colums for each language, let's say
English and French. I.e.
Categories
ID
CatName_En
CatName_Fr

2. I can keep the colum names the same and use seperate
tables for each language. I.e.
Categories_En
ID
CatName

Categories_Fr
ID
CatName

There are pros and cons for either approach. I'm curious if
anyone has dealt with this and would be generous to relate their
experiences.

Arca Database and Media Object

I'm using the database browser that comes with the Arca
Database xtra to add JPEGs and PNGs to the database.

When I query the database in Director, the PNGs come back as
Image objects which works great. However, the JPEGs are returned as
Media Objects. This seemed odd but workable. I just set the media
property of a bimap member to the media object, ie member(x).media
= mediaObject. Doing this creates the error: "Invalid parameter
error."

Has anyone tried this and gotten it to work?

I'm using a Mac and MX 2004.

URL encoding problem with Mac OSX "mail" program

I’m using BuddyAPI’s baOpenUrl() to send email
through a user’s default mail client which generally works
fine. Exceptions occur when the subject or body has any of the
following symbols - ™ ® ©. If there is one or more
of these symbols then the subject and body are blank on a Mac, but
come across fine in outlook on Windows.

I’m wondering if anyone has run into this. And, better
yet. Did you find a way to make the mail program on the Mac behave
properly?

Here’s the code I’m using:

In the message window type:

Address = ""
Subject = "Company Trademark™"
Body = "Check out our new Product®"
sendEmail(Address, Subject, Body)

Movie Script handlers:

on sendEmail Address, Subject, body
Subject = URLEncode(Subject)
Subject = fixUrlEncode(Subject)
body = URLEncode(body)
body = fixUrlEncode(body)
baOpenUrl("mailto:" & Address & "?subject=" &
subject & "&body=" & body, "normal")
end sendEmail

on fixUrlEncode aString -- changes "+" to the correct
urlencoding for a space.
_player.itemDelimiter = "+"
NewString = aString.item[1]
repeat with ItemNum = 2 to aString.item.count
NewString = NewString & "%20" &
aString.item[ItemNum]
end repeat
return NewString
end fixUrlEncode

Thanks.
