Acrobat XI installed twice?

Hi --

I have just instaleld Acrobat XI on my Windows 8.1 Pro (64-bit) machine and Acrobat XI appears in the installed program list (from Control Panel) twice, each at roughly 2gbs - (1.85gb and 1.98gb). One is listed as version 11.0 the other as 11.0.00.

I can change one install but only uninstall the other one. What is the deal with this? Is Acrobat really installed twice?

Tools for Mobile App Development with HTML5/CSS

Hi --

I am interested in learning to develop cross platform mobile apps using HTML5 and CSS.

Which Adobe product(s) (and other tools) are best for this?

I'm guessing that Apache Cordova and Adobe PhoneGap Build are places to start but I'm looking for input from others.

I'm also guessing the Adobe Edge products are appropriate "IDEs" for this kind of thing?

What does Cordova bring to the table that isn't available in native HTML5/CSS?

I apologize if this is not the correct forum for this question but upon reviewing the list of available forums this seemed like the best fit.

Keyboard equivalent to Ctrl-Click?

Hi --

I would like to be able to select a photo (adding it to the already selected photos) via the keyboard. Is this possible? I prefer using the keyboard to the mouse and keyboard.

CC Apps on Windows 8 / Modify Install

Hi --

I have just installed Photoshop CC and Illustrator CC on my machine running Windows 8. I noticed that both 32 bit and 64 bit versions of Photoshop and Illustrator are installed. Since I'm using Windows 64-bit do I need both?

I'm assuming I don't need both (I never used the 32-bit versions on my prior Windows 7 64-bit installation) but the problem is you can't modify the install of either app, you can only uninstall it. How can I remove the 32-bit versions?

Time Line / Cut Sequence with Keyboard?

Hi --

I am working on a rough edit of a long video and I would like to be able to create cuts (or slices?) with the keyboard at the current point in the time line. I have searched the documentation, the web and the keyboard shortcut settings of Premiere and don't seem to see a way to do this.

However, I thought I would ask my fellow Premiere users for help, so is there a way to use the razor tool at the current point in the timeline with the keyboard?

Simple Video Splitter?

Hi --

I subscribe to Adobe Creative Cloud so I have access to all the available tools. I have a bunch of old VHS video that I've transferred to DVD and now I want to clean up on my PC. I don't need the sophistication of Premiere, I just want to take a VOB file from the DVD and split it up into a few shorter videos. Is there a utility including with Adobe CC that will allow me to do this?

I played around with Prelude and found that I could make subclips but no way to get those subclips into their own files that I could then view.

I did an internet search and found some utilities to do this kind of thing but really don't want to pay for something else since I'm already paying for Adobe's tools.

Capture from Canon DSLR (Rebel T3i) ?

Hi --

I don't really need to do this but I'm wondering if it is possible to capture video from my Canon Rebel T3i directly to my PC using Premiere Pro CS6.

I'm sort of guessing its not, partly because I tried and failed and also because the T3i has no firewire connectivity but I thought I'd ask.
