How do I add variables to different checkboxes without using the 'Export Value' and then add them together (if checked)?

Hello,

I am very new to JavaScript. I would like to create a checkbox with a numerical value variable activated if the box is checked. Unfortunately, I cannot use the 'Export Value' because I already need to use it for something else.

Any help is really appreciated.

When exporting a pdf from InDesign CC 2014 to Acrobat XI the unique checkbox field names are being renamed. How do I stop this?

Hello,

I have designed an interactive pdf in InDesign CC 2014 and am trying to export it to Acrobat XI. Everything goes smoothly except that the field names for the checkboxes (which are uniquely named) are being automatically renamed. I suspect it may have something to do with my naming convention. The unique field names are simply: class.1, class.2, class.3, class.4, ect...

Once opened in Acrobat XI the field names have been changed to class.10, class.21, class.32, class.43, etc... Obviously either InDesign is adding the extra number on export or Acrobat is adding the extra number on import.

My question is simple: How do I stop it from adding anything?

Does FormsCentral accept spawned template pages?

I have to create a registration form for a dance studio. Does FormsCentral allow for spawned template pages (for each individual student from a single family)?

Hello,

I have created a form in FormCentral. The form is broken down into several groups of checkboxes. Each group has a heading such as: 5 years old, 6 years old, 7 years old, etc...

With the form created using FormsCentral, exported as a PDF (to add calculations) and then imported back into FormsCentral the grouping remain intact in the 'View Responses' area. Example: The '6 years old' section displays the name of all of the 6 year old selected checkboxes. The '7 years old' section displays the name of all of the 7 year old selected checkboxes, etc...

Because the FormsCentral application doesn't provide a great deal of visual customization I am now trying to create my form using InDesign CC. Now, the items take up their own spreadsheet column and don't group together inside the 'View Responses' area as before. My question is: how do I group together item in the PDF so that they retain their grouping within FormsCentral as before?

My belief is that it has something to do with the naming conventions used on the various checkboxes. Yet, I cannot quite figure out the pattern.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
