Where to Buy Macromedia Director MX 2004 (ver 10)

I have an application that uses CTX files created from MX 2004. Newer versions won;t work and the developer fo tha application has no plans on upgrading the application to make it compatible with newer versions of Director.

I have searched in vain to find someplace to purchase of copy of MX2004.

Ten years is old for software but not ancient; I find it strange that in this day and age there's nothing available.

Does anyone have an idea of where I might be able to locate this?

PS6 - "Custom" Marquee

I need to be able to place a marquee that is 2.5" x 3.5" with a 40 pixel radius on the corners.

This marquee will serve as my "cookie cutter" to capture scanned images of trading cards - the Automate "Crop and Straighten Photos" does a great job of speeding up the scanning process but I'm still left with background color in the spaces (see below)

With a preset marquee to serve as a template I could automate its placement and then copy the contents/save as a new file and remove that background.

I can create the appropriate selection using the rounded rectangle tool but cannot figure out how to save it.

Is this possible?

I've searched everywhere and anything related to this points back to using a Batch process, which will not work for what I need to do..

Here's my project process (if someone has a better mousetrap please share! )

I need to be able to scan in an image of 9 playing deck card size images at a time, and have them saved as individual JPGs. Here's how I'm trying to do it.

1. Using Import, I scan in the 9 cards.

2. I create a selection marquee that covers one card.

3. I created an action that does teh following: COPY -> FILE NEW -> PASTE -> SAVE AS JPG -> FILE CLOSE

Theoretically I should then be able to just move the selection marquee to the next card in the scanned image, run the action.. rinse and repeat for the 9 images and then scan 9 more.

Problem is I cannot find a way to incrementally name the files - no matter what I try I end up with an original file (first card) and a COPY (last card processed).

Am I going about this all wrong?
