CC without internet connection possible?

Alrighty, so this is a little tricky. Right now the two teams I oversee are still on CS4. I have gotten initial positive feedback to lead the effort to purchase Creative Cloud for Teams. However, there is a MAJOR issue that would prevent us from doing so, in turn asking this to get some insight on possible workarounds.

Several people are using machines that are severely locked down, high security, NO outside internet access is allowed, no external media connections, etc. In a nutshell, these machines are used as part of our development deployment process (for more than just websites) and the only machines that can be used to deploy code. Details aside, there is virtually no chance to open these machines for internet connectivity.

If we are to update these machines from CS4 to CC, is there a way to install without an internet connection (like downloading executables and deploy via intranet)? Does Adobe have a solution around the "required" internet connection?

Right now, we are talking about a minimum 5-year contract that we will have to ramp up for in the next few months, and personally using CC, I see the advantages of pushing our teams to it for use for virtually everything (web, graphics, publishing, video) in house.

Acrobat XI - Where is Touchup / Edit Object tool?

Our company just upgrade to XI Pro, have documents to retag for accessibility, but I cannot for the life of me find the edit object tool.

Where has this gone?

I can no longer open the tags panel, select an object in the document, go back to tags panel and "Find tag by selection". I can create an empty tag, select an object and then in Tags panel right click on that empty tag but I cannot "Create tag from selection".

I looked through all the tool sets, especially the Content Editing tools, the help section, please can anyone point me in the right direction?

Read out Loud not reading Alt Text

Hello all. When using Acrobat 9 Pro, adding all text to a tag for text had the Read out Loud actually read the alternate text. However with Acrobat X Pro, adding alt text to a tag for text does not force the Read out Loud to read that alternate text.

Meaning if I add "Tiger Tigers School is closed October ninth" to the tag of the text displaying "- TTS is closed October 9th" results with Read out Loud to interpret and read it as "Text To Speech is closed October 9th".

Is this a bug?

Tag Inspector Bugged with Latest Update?

Can anyone else confirm that the tag inspector is bugged when trying to review tags with the "Highlight Content" option turned on?

Meaning, when remediating a PDF for 508 Accessibility and Usability, I use the tag inspector to help remove useless images, retag a Tag (i.e., <P> to <H1>, and so on. Before the latest update, when you clicked on a tag, it took you the corresponding page that content resides. Now, after the update, if you click on a tag past the first page, or page you are currently on, the document "resets" itself to the top of the first page.

Needless to say, this severely impacts the time to remediate a PDF now for Accessibility.

Anyone else?

Spry Tab Panels - searching and displaying correct panel

Hello all!

I currently have a spry tabbed panel page created, but a question came up that I couldn't quite answer.

The question is if someone was to do a simple find (Ctrl-F) for specific text, would it open the panel with the text they were searching for?

I tried this and found that currently this does not happen (unless I turn off javascript which doesn't solve the issue). I searched through the forums and haven't found a similar scenario so I am asking for some help or insight.

How can one code or adjust the spry tabbed panels so that when a user wants to search for text, the panel that holds the text will open revealing the text they search for?

Any help or assistance would be greatly appreciated!
