Black window is open in background every time I open a new file

Hi There,

Every time I open a new file in photoshop CS6, it forces another window in the background to open.

Please can you tell me how to disable this, as it is very annoying and I hate working in tabs.

Also, how do I open all new files at 100%?

Hi There,

I am tying to get an object to align directly over the top of another but struggling to get them to align accurately.

In the attached screenshot, I would like the image on the left to align exactly to the object on the right.
