NPP_NewStream still freezes Firefox

Just tested the Flash Player 13 beta. Unfortunately it still has the bug I reported. https://bugbase.adobe.com/index.cfm?event=bug&id=3715663

The Firefox UI completely freezes for multiple seconds while waiting for Flash to return from calls to NPP_NewStream or NPP_GetValue(NPPVpluginWantsAllNetworkStreams). Would be nice if somebody could look into this.

11.6 Poor Network Performance in Protected Mode

It seems the networking performance has degraded heavily in Firefox with 11.6. See bug report https://bugbase.adobe.com/index.cfm?event=bug&id=3504234

This is really worrisome as the performance in Firefox was very poor even before 11.6. Especially compared to Chrome or Internet Explorer.

The network performance with protected mode is still really bad.

This screenshot is of Flash 11.3 but I have the same results with build 11.4.400.231. See also https://bugbase.adobe.com/index.cfm?event=bug&id=3281034.

Error #2044: SecurityErrorEvent

For some reason it isn't possible to load SWF-files from an SWF even if both SWF come from the same domain. Explicitly allowing the domain with Security.allowDomain doesn't help.

Error message:

Error #2044: SecurityErrorEvent unverarbeitet. text=Error #2121: Verletzung der Sicherheits-Sandbox: https://localhost.herokon-online.com/client-main/externaltest.swf: https://localhost.herokon-online.com/client-main/externaltest.swf/[[DYNAMIC]]/1 kann nicht auf zugreifen. Dies lässt sich umgehen durch das Aufrufen von Security.allowDomain.
