Hand Sketched Line Technique

Hello creative enthusiasts!

I've been wondering how one can achieve a line look similar to the image i've attached? I've been playing with filters and even tried with a Wacom tablet shaking my hand on purpose, but i can't quite execute it like the sample i've included. Any guidance will be much appreciated!

Creative Cloud Duplicating Programs

I've noticed that in my applications folder (on iMac), most of the programs that i have synced are now duplicated. Well, in some way. For instance i have "Adobe Illustrator CC" & "Adobe Illustrator CC 2014". Almost all of my synced cloud apps are like this. Can i remove one of these?

Stop Opening Color Tab

Is there a way to stop Illustrator from automatically opening and selecting the color tab when i click on stroke or fill? I'd like to just keep my swatches tab open while switching between stroke and fill. But each time i select one, the color tab pops open. Even if i close it!

Line with pointed end?

Trying to find the easiest method to achieve this. This will be a 3/4 circle around a mark. So i draw a circle, delete the right side point to create an opening. Now i'd like for the two end points to come to a "point" (sharp, pointed end like a knife). I've tried outlining the stroke, then adjusting the end points. But it never comes out clean and precise. Would be nice if there was a set of sharp ends along with the endpoints like the arrowheads.

Any guidance in how to do this will be much appreciated!

How to auto-format CSS?

In a CSS (or HTML) doc, Is there a way to select-all and remove all indents or format a certain way? When i copy and paste code in, it's always all over and i have to go through hundreds of lines and remove or add indents so it's all uniform.

Why does Illustrator keep adding a "-01" to filename when saving/exporting?

Is there a way to turn this off? I can't overwrite files like i want. When i either save or export a file, Regardless of what i name it, when i click save, Illustrator is automatically adding a "-01" to the end of the filename. Then i have to go back in and manually delete the old file and change the new filename by deleting the "-01" on the end. This has caused me to delete the wrong files a few times.

It's annoying and i'd like it to stop!

Combining lines into a solid shape

I'm trying to create a solid black background for a logo i'm working on. From the image you can see, i'm wanting the space between the lines filled to create a solid black background behind the stripes in the logo. As well as the space between the circle and the inner line.

I've tried several options on the pathfinder panel. There's got to be an easier way than recreating the whole shape with the pen tool.

Anchor point movements

So i've got a stroke in a circular path. I use the scissor tool and cut a segment of it out. Now, i want to move one of the end points up and have the anchor points after it follow the movement to keep the smooth line. I think Flash had a tool like this. It allowed you to manipulate one point that would affect the whole path depending on how extreme or what direction you went.

That make sense?

Team Membership not allowing me use of programs.

I just purchased the annual team membership plan. Downloaded Creative Cloud and downloaded a couple programs. Each program i tried opening asks to either "License This Software" or "Start Trial". I've searched the forums and haven't found a solid solution to this. I chatted with support online and they couldn't help me and directed me to here. I thought paying a monthly fee allows me access to the programs, not the trials. Am i wrong?

Can someone please help me get this resolved? I need to get designs in motion asap!
