      <title>HTML export Issue</title>

Now it doesn't. Cause appears to be changing html extension to .wdgt (for iBook Author) and then changing it back again,the file ceased to work and prevented any other exported HTML file working either. I opened Safari and searched history for one I had opened earlier to prove I wasn't going mad. then saved the file to the desktop. It automatically had a .webarchive extension applied to it.
