BC Gurus responsive template slider

Help!!!

I have installed one of BC Gurus' responsive templates for a new site and have somehow managed to mess up the home page slider.

All I did was open the Home template, delete a couple lines of code to remove a row, and the slider now displays stacked.

When I restored the code I had deleted, and even when I rolled the page back, the slide ris still not repaired.

Can someone PLEASE help me???

Default browser window from HTML

I am just building a simple HTML app and want to open a new window to an existing web page from the air app that opens in a default browser window rather than spawining a new air window.

I have been banging my apparently limited-capacity head against a wall for 8 hours now with no luck.

Can anyone tell me how to get this done? I am guessing it's as simple as adding a piece of code to my app xml file and a corresponding piece of code to my HTML page where I have the link?

Any help will be sincerely appreciated.

Referencing Web App Tag in CSS

i have created a web app and i want an image with a tag of "icon_90x90" that i have named & uploaded in my app as my div background.

i have this as my CSS: background-image: url(../calendar-Q/event-icons/"{tag_icon_90x90}"); - doesn't seem to be working. can you tell me what is wrong with this?

It's probably something stupid like the quotation marks I am using or something...I sure would appreciate someone's help with this!

Center Page DIV

This is probably a very simple question, but I've been tinkering for a couple hours and can't figure out a quick, easy way to center the wireframe developed in Proto on a page, then to make all div's within the wireframe relative rather than AP.

It would make the tool an awful lot more productive for me if there were a simple way to do this when creating in the app...

Does this question/thought make sense? Has anyone found an easy way to manage this?

Customizing Calendar App (with Kiyuco Tutorial)

Really struggling with the calendar system for a client and have tried and tried to install the Kiyuco custom web app calendar on my site.

Test calendar page is at: http://wictnewengland.businesscatalyst.com/calendar-test

I have stripped the page template of all my CSS and used just the code supplied by Kiyuco...with no luck.

Not only are the components not displaying properly, they are also not behaving properly.

In searching through these forums, I came across another site which features this calendar displaying and functioning properly: http://templatetheotherchildusstandard.businesscatalyst.com/events

Any ideas on how I can duplicate this??? I am marginally comfortable modifying CSS to stylize my colors to fit within my site...but after spending hours on this, I am stumped.

News Snippet in List View

Is there a way to include a snippet - say the first 2 lines - of a news item in the List View? So, for instance, if I include the Announcement List module on my home page, it can include the Subject, the first 2 lines of the post, then a link to "read more"...?
