Topics not loading in Internet Explorer 10

Hello all,

I'm updating a help project in Robohelp 10. This is an existing project i had in Robohelp 10/Framemaker 11. I am simply updating my Frame content and regenerating (the FM project is linked). My company recently upgraded my browser to Internet Explorer 10.0.9200.17028.

I am noticing that some topics do not appear now (they are blank). This is a merged helpset (about 10 helpsets that are merged). I am running the helpset locally on my PC.

I've tried applying the IE 10 patch for RH10 and regenerating but this did not help. I am using RH10.0.1.292.

Everything looks fine in Firefox.

I am releasing this week and am not sure what else to try.

Any ideas?

Webhelp in Netscape? Alternative SSL?

Hi all,

I need to create an online help system that will run in an old version of Netscape, on an HP-UX machine. I tried generating Webhelp, but it will not load.

Is there a Robohelp SSL I can use that is just plain HTML (no Java)? I would prefer to have an online help that has a Contents (navigation) pane on the left and the content in the right, if possible.

I can use Technical Communication Suite 3, 4, or 5.

Merged Webhelp - TOC doesn't display

Hello all,

Sorry for double-posting, I think I posted in the wrong forum so am reposting here:

I have generated a merged webhelp project as per the instructions at:

The output help file is quite large. I can run it without issues on my PC. However, when I copy it to a server, it does load, the TOC pane appears empty until I click around a few times in the help. Is there any way to fix this?

Have you found a solution to this? I am having the exact same problem - it was working well previously but now, whenever I have conditional text IN A TABLE in my FrameMaker source that is hidden, Robohelp crashes.

Problem with glossary hotspots when glossary term next to text in angle brackets <>

Has anyone observed this problem. If so, is there a way to fix this? If I have text in angle brackets <> right next to a glossary term, and I run the Robohelp Glossary hotspot wizard, Robohelp will get confused and delete that text in the generated output . I've shown this using some screen captures. The problem appears to be that Robohelp replaces the code for the text angle brackets, < and > with regular angle brackets <>.

Can you merge multiple Webhelp projects?

Hi all,

Is it possible to merge several separately created Webhelp projects so that when you launch one project, you can see the TOCs of the other projects as well? (ie, they would all appear to be part of the same help but were actually created separately). I am using RH10.

Javahelp - how to get styles to work properly

Hello all,

Does anyone here generate Javahelp 1.1.3? I'm quite familiar with creating Webhelp and epub using Robohelp. However, we have some javahelp projects i need to upgrade and the style mapping just seems random when displayed in the Javahelp viewer (ie, mix of serif and sans serif fonts, even though my CSS has only sans serif fonts, fonts really tiny, etc).

Webworks created Javahelp beautifully but it would be good to use one product for our conversions.

Any tips on how to get my stylesheet to work for producing Javahelp?
