Feature Request: Select and tag

Hi Folks

Our company often gets lots of existing text to incorporate into our pages.

It would be a big time saver to be able to select content and then apply opening and closing tags around that text via a single keyboard shortcut.

e,g,

1. Select text

2. Execute keyboard shortcut to activate a tag entry field (with the same hinting menu used in regular tag entry).

3. User enters opening tag.

4. Edge Code enters opening and closing tags before and after selected text.

A useful add-on would be the ability to add custom tags to the list that the user uses often.

(e.g. a common tag followed by a user defined attribute, measurement, etc.)

Thanks!

Print X1a Proof on Epson Inkjet in OS X Lion?

Hi Folks

Are any of you using a current Epson printer to print PDF X1a proofs?

If so, what output settings are you using: I notice that the Lion/Epson print settings have changed. I couldn't find where to choose the destination profile (SWOP2)

We've been using our Epson 1270 CMYK printer for 10 years to print accurate PDF X-1a target proofs for commercial print shops doing our commercial printing.

Now the trusty old 1270 has died (a great printer), and we've just updated to OS X Lion (ack!) and we're looking to replace the printer.

Epson suggests that the Epson 3000 is the current equivalent of the 1270. But, surprisingly, their tech support are not up to date on proofing in a device-independent color workflow.

Thanks for any input.

Tom

lllustrator and Photoshop display different colors despite synchronized CS5 Color Settings
